Pre Order confusion....

I'm wondering if you haven't pre-ordered yet, are you still able to get these cars as part of the pre-order bonus as well if I get it at Gamestop, say Wednesday? I'm not complaining though, hell I will still start with 25 cars. Of course, they will probably just sit there for awhile anyways as I want the bonuses, but still want to work my way up the ladder in the beginning lol.:dopey:

I really dont know they shuld tell use what happen to the first 4 cars they say as pre order bonus only time will tell

I don't think so because the GAME UK site claims the Anniversary Edition to be EXCLUSIVE.

Well after you look at what they are offering now, it looks as though they replaced the Z4 GT3 with the R8 LMS Ultra and added the Viper to the 4 car pack now, making it a 5 car pack. Bah, I'm just going to go pre-order from Gamestop, it is so convoluted right now, lol.:yuck:
 
If my memory serves me right, the car codes for GT 5 were regional?

US Gamestop codes will not work if You log in using a European account?:)

I think the codes would work. But e.g. Amazon refuses to send you the codes, if you've not ordered in your "appropriate" region. I ordered GT5 in UK and only received a mail saying they can't give me the codes, because of my shipping-address.

Hey guys,

I know there's a pre-order thread out there, but I'd like to know directly if you lot have had any success with the Anniversary edition of GT6 and the pre order that goes with it.

I now see on the official www.gran-turismo.com website they've divided pre-orders up into three different editions.

I pre-ordered a day before the Anniversary edition was announced, and Gamestop doesn't seem to recognize any of this. They told me it COULD be a free upgrade from what I've already pre-ordered. But which version would I actually be getting?

Wondering if anyone else is in the same boat so you can ease my worries. 👍 cheers!
 
Since you know there's a thread on this exact subject, I've gone ahead and merged them.

I've talked with the local EB games, and they've told me that the GT.com website is how it'll work in Canada, even if their own site is still out of date. You'll note, though, that that means some cars will no longer be part of the same blue-and-stripe package; the TZ3 and V12 Vantage don't seem to be in the official list anymore.

it looks like I'll wait on pre-ordering until closer to the date since Idk if there willl be a collectors edition too or not

Yea I just went to Gamestop here in Arizona and my store had no idea of anything on the Anniversary edition upgrade if you preorder. From what I was told, anything that is announced between now and release date those that preorder automatically get all the bonuses since we already locked in our purchase.

I am not trying to worry, but I sure wish the internet wasnt so much more up to date on this stuff than the actual store lol. I guess they are more worried about the GTA 5 preorders right now haha.
 
Just read this thread and my head really hurts now. I preordered at the local EBGames and have sent an email to their HO to establish which copy I will receive.
 
Ya my head hurts now too. Really prefer buying from Amazon, but with no anniversary edition now gamestop is the only way to get all the cars. I guess if you want the money and 20 cars too, you should buy one from both Amazon and GS.

I was wondering the exact same thing but, I went ahead and put my money down on a copy of GT6 anyway. If I have packaging options that will be a huge plus when the day comes.

Yea, I imagine that is why because they are still showing all the original preorder bonuses still when it was first announced. Gamestop, get your stuff together lol!

You start the game with 1,000,000 Cr. if you preorder from Amazon.

Is it correct to say, there's no advantage of buying from Amazon? Maybe its cheaper but that's it?

I don't know, getting money in GT has always been pretty effortless once you get going. I would rather have something that won't be so quickly expendable, like the cars which I know I will have for a lot longer than $1 mil credits.

Apparently given that nobody has said a word about an actual (steelbook-packaged and available on all retailers) 15th Anniversary Edition for the U.S market.
