Primus Ortus

I'm pretty sure it's 'Miura'. :P

Otherwise, great pictures.

My favorite has got to be the 5th and the last.

Magnificent shots.

Thanks Fishy!

Wow, those Lamborghini shots are amazing

Thank you Soloracer!

Ooh. Very lovely shots indeed. :) I guess you got a little inspiration from ceiling_fan's Miura Bros.? :D

Of course I did! Actually, I finally got a chance to play this past weekend and was able to amass the $12 mil. needed to purchase this beauty. I had originally planned to do three sets on the Lambo, one of each color, blue, red, and green. I've still got green to do. :)

Such unmatched brilliance in your compositions.

Hehe, thanks. :embarrassed:

The color of the Lamborghini is really very nice. 👍
The tones in all the photos are beautiful, you've managed to convince me to take the Miura ... but 20,000,000! :( :nervous:
Congratulations indeed. :dopey: :)

Thanks Loading - actually, it can be purchased for a bargain basement price of only $12 million! Woot!

They are awesome, very nice work!

Thanks Nbdesignz! :)

I'm pretty sure it's 'Miura'. :P

Doh! You are right! Dang... okay, fixed it... :grumpy: Interesting choice of favorites. I like 1 and 4 the best. :)

Man you killed my Red Miura at Toscana update! Nice work!

Not at all! Your Red Miura was partly my inspiration. Thanks!

The last shot is my favorite. Your wide toscana track makes the miura look tiny, but the shots are still amazing

"This next update accentuates warmth and contrast. The focus here is on light and shadow"

Mission accomplished and with a style and flare that I've come to expect from you. Fantastic set! 👍

Part 3 of 3 to the Lamborghini set: The Jade Lambo. Actually, this is more or less the first episode of The Green Gallardo, which will include a tour of Kyoto, Mt. Aso, and finally, London (it was a long boat ride and the Gallardo was packed up tight - hardly any sea salt damage! :dopey:) This episode of the Green Gallardo will again emphasize color, light and texture, much like Murcielago in Blue of Part 1. Episodes 2 and 3 of Part 3 will be forthcoming. I hope you like them - my favorite is the first photo. :)

Thanks Soloracer3. I didn't really notice the track size until you mentioned it - you are exactly right! :scared: LOL

Thanks as always Nato! :embarrassed:

The second to last is just beautiful. More great work, Primus. 👍 👍

Thank you Skython - I think that photo is my one and only Panning Mode 1. I like it too!

yeeeeeees nice man ! the last one is my fav .

Thank you nanabu. That one seems to be the most popular...it's still growing on me... :sly: I still think I angled the road the wrong way, but what can ya do. :ill:

Wow, that's a really nice green - is that stock or has it been enhanced somewhat during editing? Any of these would go well in this weeks PMC Colours theme. :) 👍

Is that green an in game colour or have you made it look that beautiful. I really want one of those.  👍 👍 Great work, I can't even decide a favourite! :)

That green is just fantastic. I need to know what colour that is.
Also, fantastic compositions in all of them.

Preview of Part 3, Episode 2, of the Green Gallardo (Streets of London):

Thanks Nato - the color is "Botanical Green Metallic". Mostly, I increased the exposure and contrast in order to compensate for poor lighting. I did increase saturation as well, but only about 3-5%. The thing about that static photo location in Kyoto is that it has great views, but the lighting is pretty bad at the different target points. If I had one suggestion for GT6, it would be to allow us to add external lighting sources to the photomode locations. That would be nice. :)

Hey Skython, thanks! See above for an explanation.

Amazing colours in these lamb shots, always love bright colours :D

Thank you Soloracer - me too!

the green Gallardo looks so good. Never would've believed that green on this car works so well.
Looking forward to the other London pics:dunce:

The end of the Lamborghini set. I started out with the Murcielago in Blue, which emphasized color and atmosphere. The next part highlighted the Miura in Red, which emphasized light, shadow, and texture. The last part focused on the Gallardo in Green, and because of the size of the shoot, I broke it up into three episodes, with this being the last two. Naturally, black, yellow and red are the most utilized colors for Lamborghini. I wanted to try something different with the blue and green. These last two parts attempt to capture all of the elements of the prior parts. I hope you like them! :)

Part 3, Episode 2:

The Gallardo in Green (Streets of London)

Part 3, Episode 3:

The Jade Lambo in Japan (Mt. Aso and Tokyo)

Lastly, these are my personal favorites from the last three parts:

You've managed to get fantastic colours in all of these set parts, it's amazing what you've done with your editing 👍

Thanks everyone for the kind comments!

Time for something new and different. I've never owned a truck, and I'm not from the country. Nevertheless, there is something about it that appeals to me. Click on the pics! :)

Cowboy Up!

Haha!

This reminds me of my old GT4 - Days where I was constantly driving the RAM through the Canyon. The second picture looks drop dead gorgeous

Nevermind good, that second (and third) look straight out of a Dodge ad! The lighting is so carefully captured, it really hides the Standard-ness incredibly well. A great set, really.

Looking back, the sixth Miura shot is my favourite, again because of the subtle lighting on the car's body, and I can't even pick a favourite for the Gallardo; I love seeing cars in unexpected hues (in this case, a deep dark green as opposed to the neons typically associated with raging bulls), and this works so well. Guess I'll need to up my Gallardo count yet again... ;)

Your knowledge of composition is among the best here, definitely one of my favourite galleries to pop into (I'm just very, very late at commenting). Keep this up 👍

As SlipZ said these shots are fantastic, they hide the truck's standard features superbly and thats not easy 👍 Brilliant work

Nice update mate!👍👍👍

Well what do ya know, I actually did a mid-week mini update. Weird, huh? :) I took these for the Photomode comp. The unedited version is in the comp, while these have obviously been played with. Earlier in my gallery I had a little fun with the WWII storyline in Italy. See HERE and HERE. I've added these two to the set:

That's pretty funny - I wish they would bring back some of the old tracks. The second picture was actually a second take. Initially, I had the truck in the lower left quadrant, but I wanted more road in the picture to offset the sky. Thanks for the comment!

The second picture is as 20832 mentioned so damn good.

Thanks Fishy!

Wow... :embarrassed: Thanks Slipz. The lighting helps, that's for sure. I also had to fix the body around the wheel wells and headlights, and smooth out jaggies in the smoke in a couple pictures as well. These standards take a lot of work sometimes! :scared: I also appreciate the comment about composition. It's amazing what one can learn when reading your Q&A and GTSomething's tut. :sly:

Yes the second picture is beautiful. Nice work with all the truck shots

Thank you chromatic!

Thanks as always Soloracer!

I love the first shot in post 346.

Heh, that was my favorite of the set as well - simple composition, angle, and use of aperture. Thanks!

Nice update mate!👍👍👍
My favorite / " Power & Wild "

Thanks Hawk - that's very nice of you!

Dodge Ram photos are picture perfect! And your WWII photos - amazing! Captured the era perfectly. 👍 Amazing job. :)
