My game stutters and won't hold second gear when using my wheel, at this point it is unplayable. Update, reboot seems to have solved some of the problems.

I have a thrustmaster TX. I have now put my settings on auto shift and am changing gears in that mode.

One issue I had is now solved, thanks to @BIG CAROLINA for letting me know.

The hideous vibration with a wheel on the grid and in the pits while stationary is actually caused by the vibration setting for the controller, change input to controller (which will reset your wheel settings so make a note of them) and reduce controller vibration to zero and it will resolve it.

Why the vibration setting for a controller is doing this when you have wheel selected is a mystery, but it wasn't nice at all and I'm glad its gone.

Unfortunately it still does it sometimes but nowhere near as frequently as it was. Not sure what else to try at this point.

My Thrustmaster T300 for some reason won't reconnect but does turn at the system startup calibration. I had it working fine during practice & set up but I restarted the system after dinner, now it only works with the WIFI controller. (PS4 mode, controller configuration: wheel)

Mine lost all feedback when hot lapping earlier today, had to close down AC and restart it. Mine worked ok after I had done.

Seems to just forget you have a wheel at times and need restarting.

How many times has this happened?

I encoutered a graphical glitch with the Mercedes Benz AMG GT3. If you use the bonnet view, a portion of the screen in line of your sight is black and it stretches across the screen.
Haven't been able to drive the car because it's so annoying...

3 times when I was using the T150 and once last night when I was using the T300.

I also have found that brake pedal mapping is totally different for the T150 and T300, even though I am using the exact same pedals (T3PA). I had used the Brake Mod to manage the lack of brake configuration in AC when I first played it last week, and had it set-up to allow modulation to be managed at the point of lock-up / ABS being triggered.

Got my T300 yesterday and set-it up and the 12C GT3 as a test car (which I had driven the day before with the T150 and it was fine) and it would not stop at all! Had to mess around re-adjusting the brake mod to fix it.

With a T300 you seem to get far more usable brake travel than with a T150 with exactly the same pedal set (note this was not an issue on any other title I reconfigured for the T300).

Good to know. I have the T300,I'm going to hold off on this for a couple of weeks. Give them a chance to fix some things. Friends in my League say the physics are fantastic.

The physics are excellent, but the lack of button customization (let alone button box support) and wheel / pedal set-up is a pain.

A few things that I saw that I don't think were mentioned yet:

T300 quit working after PS4 went to sleep then woke back up. I ended up turning off the system 100% to fix.

The automatic rev blipping is wonky for some cars. In the F1 GTR it's a bad bad deal, bangs off the rev limiter like crazy every downshift, sometimes upsetting the car in a corner. Very distracting. I had to drive without it, which requires very painfully lifting off the accelerator during every paddle shift.

These guys are going to have their hands full with patching :nervous: and I'm going to hold off on a PS Plus subscription until I hear there have been significant improvements to the online functionality. I worry about that because I don't think it's a trivial effort - this game needs structural changes.

I do truly enjoy driving though. Even track/car combos that I would dismiss as insufferably boring or terrible... I have to pull myself away. I did 10 freaking laps of Brands Hatch GP in the Yellowbird. Nobody was holding a gun to my head. I only went off on Paddock Hill once or twice!!!

Don't hold off. Get it now.

If it helps, I have several hours on the game and didn't have a single issue with my T300.

I'm not doubting you didn't have any issues. But from comments and postings I've read,I'll wait.

Stupid question, but have you tried switching pedal mode from rally to formula or vice versa - with mode button on bottom left side of the unit - green/red light?

I use my T300 on PC version of Assetto Corsa. That works with the "red" mode light on. The "red" mode is also required for PS3 operation.

Instructions say the "green" light should be on of PS4 operation. With the Green light on, my G27 pedals have throttle on the left and clutch on the right. How is that changed in Assetto Corsa for PS4?

I can actually get a car around a track. But having to do it with the gas pedal on the left and the clutch on the right is a whole new world for me. Especially with left hand drive cars. My brain is not making the adjustment.

So hopefully the KS brain trust will start kicking out fixes today or tomorrow.

To pay for the game and on-line pass only to find out that no cars or tracks are available and advanced order doesn't get you extra cars/tracks is a big let down.

I never saw the "prestige pack" or whatever it's called before yesterday. I love this game on PC.
But on PS4 it needs a lot of work. I have a lot of respect for KS. But they have let us down with this release.
The lack of proper animation after a race, and of cars puling into the pits is embarrassing. They don't seem to put much priority in the details and emersion factor. I am hoping my support of them is not misplaced. 👎:irked:

Don't use hibernate mode on the PS4 if you have a Thrustmaster wheel, when you wake it back up you will have lost Force Feedback and need to close and restart AC before you will get it back.
Agree 100%. Happened to me with both pCARS and Driveclub.

Lots of helpful info here! Only tried some road cars so far like the Abarth & older M3. Im on a PS4 with a G29. My only big let down is the huge force feedback deadzone in the center. And it just seems to get bigger if you reduce the in-game FF setting down from 100%.
GT6 on this same wheel feels so much better around the center.

The strange thing is, there does not seem to noticeable steering dead zone around the center, just FF dead zone.

Do you guys with the thrustmaster wheels have a big center FF deadzone?

Didn't get it with either a T150 or T300.

Can I ask were you have seen this?

I am using a T300 with G27 pedals on ps4 with the red light on and my pedals work fine.

The only thing in the manual I have read is red light normal pedals, green light swapped pedals.

EDIT: I see you got your answer in the other thread.

Thank you anyway OZ. I think I either heard/saw it on ISR. Bottom line I was clueless.

I can't figure out where to put my code for the preorder bonus so I can unlock those cars, can someone point me in the right direction?

Is there a minimum force setting in the wheel setup on console? If there is, try setting it around 16% and see if that helps.

- The game isn't showing what type of wheel are being used.
- When you finish a race, there's only chequered flag sign on top left, then you drive for a couple of seconds, and boom !! you respawn to pit. There should be some transition in between
- Driving line is static and weird, indicating to brake in the middle of long straight.
- Fuel setting --> no indication of how many laps /range. Should be there,or give automatic fuel amount depend on race laps, or even make it full by default.
- Special event could be much much better if there is leaderboard

Some cars indicate the fuel that is left. The Alfa 155 for example shows it on the dash. Only not sure if it corresponds correctly with the player's adjustements :embarrassed:
