Haven't had time to mess with this but I said o woukw post a bunch of pics from PWC @ COTA. Here are a few. I'll try to get more done soon. First time going to something like this. Needless to say the senses were overwhelmed;)

I've always loved that chrome green livery on that Porsche.

That one really stuck out along with the pink lambo. Also the wheels on this lambo are cool. And my favorite of a Benz.

Probably a dumb question, but does anyone know where I can find an official list of Homologated GT4 cars?

Since when did MG have a presence in Australia? Have never seen anything to do them before.
They used to have a great presence back when they sold convertibles up to the early 70's.
They've also got a great competition history but, that was with real MGs.

Wish we had a series like that in the states. Here it's just historic races where people are afraid to push the cars or get near each other...

Hopefully a fairer class structure can entice more entries. I miss the Procar days when the series was regularly on the Supercars support bill with mostly modern cars.

Other than the period when Series Production raced at Bathurst up to 1972, the Procar days were the strongest for for the class.

Just looked up Procar. The M1. How I fotgot that beautiful race car, is a mystery to me.
Different Procar. :P Along with the Australian Production Car Championship, Procar Australia managed the likes of Nations Cup (predecessor to Australian GT), Bathurst 24 Hour, Brute Utes (which became V8 Utes) and the Australian GT Production Car Championship.

I think James Brock brokered the deal (or played a leading role) 1 or 2 years ago. Relaunching MG in Australia...which wasn't really notelable.

They had a display at the AusGT this year too. MG6, MG3 and whatever the small SUV they're flogging at the moment is.

James Brock won in his class with the MG. Darn.

...against a Toyota Echo.

Actually, I didn't get around to checking Sunday's times but on Saturday the MG was running at a pace that would have it just in the top 30 of the Excel Series...
