What category was the Aston Martin DBR1 part of in PCars? There is no space in LMP1, the Toyota TS040-HYBRID has that, but there may be an LMP900 space. I just cannot recall.
It is LMP1, but without a rival, it likely got cut. Much like the Audi R18 TDI.What category was the Aston Martin DBR1 part of in PCars? There is no space in LMP1, the Toyota TS040-HYBRID has that, but there may be an LMP900 space. I just cannot recall.

It will be back, as confirmed via Twitter.

After all there is a spot left in track day carsNM Hope is not lose yet
@jake2013guy I didn't know that they haven't officially announced Ferrari yet, Gives me hope for the fxx-k
It's not final as not everything is revealed yet. Plus, some cars that we already knew aren't there such as: Chevrolet Camaro '69 TransAm, Aston Martin DB11 and presumably the Renault Sport R.S. 01 GT3.FINAL CAR LIST!! http://www.projectcarsgame.com/the-cars.html?lang=en
Could be for the Huracan Super Trofeo, as mentioned by @warp9engage in the previous page. After all there is a spot left in track day cars
Could be that those two cars had no rivals and it didn't make financial sense to pay the license for two cars which would have effectively been their own "single-make class". Of all the classes, LMP1 would be the most difficult to keep up with and do well because the technology constantly changes and the cars haven't often been competitive.Don't understand how they could kill the R18 TDI and the Aston DBR12, class LMP1 HY or non HY is looking very very poor and disappointing. And I had hopes they would increase both of it, damn this is unexpected.
Theres 2 spots open in gt1, we could possibly get the lambo Diablo gt1. Groups 5 and C are both looking healthy. Wasn't expecting the nissan r89
I am very disappointed by the LMP1 line-up too. Cutting the Audi R18 TDI and Aston Martin DBR1-2 is BS. I was hoping to see the Aston in Gulf livery. I do understand the possible reasoning of not wasting licence fees on something they deem to have no rival.Don't understand how they could kill the R18 TDI and the Aston DBR12, class LMP1 HY or non HY is looking very very poor and disappointing. Because those cars have no rivals. There are more teams on this grid than there are on the 2017 WEC grid. I'd say it's reasonable and expected.Don't understand how they could kill the R18 TDI and the Aston DBR12, class LMP1 HY or non HY is looking very very poor and disappointing. Dammit I keep forgetting they didn't announce Ferrari yet lol. You might be right, still not a bad car.My personal guess is going to be the 1998 TS020 and Ferrari F50 since we've already seen both.
Also FWIW, I love the new car list. There are some cars I wanted to see that didn't make it in, but it looks like nearly every class is at a healthy size. I really liked seeing the high downforce and LM versions of the Group C cars. Bringing in multiple engines for the Ligier P2 is a great choice also!
I personally hope the the fictional LMP1 cars can be brought up to 2014+ regulations AT LEAST in terms of physics. They are somewhat on par now, but if they could be turned into a 4MJ and 8MJ cars, I think it'll partly satisfy the fans that wanted updated LMP1 cars, including myself.
