I like the idea of the first 2. Maybe get the NextEV NIO livery for Formula E and have their Superdupercar. We have Jaguar so that's those liveries. And Audi, BMW, Renault.I think I'm going to get to use every car. No, I WILL use very car. So hyped by a great GT3 race I had earlier.
Know what we need? Electric cars. Formula E, Tesla race car, Renault Zoe-E, etc. Can't wait for this game.
Yeah, just watched a replay of the Mexico FE race. Pretty good.I like the idea of the first 2. Maybe get the NextEV NIO livery for Formula E and have their Superdupercar. We have Jaguar so that's those liveries. And Audi, BMW, Renault.

Don't see anything about a Stock Car series. But the top 2 slots look similar and the top one could be V8SC.Have they not used the Ford Fusion for a stock car career slot? or the Ford V8 Supercar?
That would be lazy. They can just make it a category of its own.Maybe it has something to do with people using it in higher classes to win races.
I've only ever seen it in one game, Game Stock Car/Automobilista. There may be others and I'm not aware. And I must say, they absolutely nailed the engine and tire squealing sound and it handles like a pig just like the real thing:I'd rather have a kart that accurately represents what you get at most cheap local kart places
For reference the GTLM pole from 2016 was a 2:02.4 with GTD (GT3) at 2:07.5. Top speeds were from 165-163.
The 2014 cars weren't 4 seconds slower though. It's most likely a driver and setup combo causing the difference.Maybe they have BOP-ed the 2016 regs down to match Aston and Corvette? I'd rather they do it the other way around so its a step up from GT3.

Yea for sure. I was just basing that info on the comment that Austin guy made saying the cars were spot on for the real life times. We may have to see what GT3 can do first. It may still be a step up.
They might be spot on in his hands.Yea for sure. I was just basing that info on the comment that Austin guy made saying the cars were spot on for the real life times.
Careful comparing GTLM to GTE and GTD to GT3.For reference the GTLM pole from 2016 was a 2:02.4 with GTD (GT3) at 2:07.5. Top speeds were from 165-163.

They aren't as far off as they used to be in 2015.Careful comparing GTLM to GTE and GTD to GT3.
The IMSA specs are different from the European specs. IMSA does a lot of BoP to ensure sufficient gaps between classes. In Europe they don't because GTE and GT3 do not race together there.

Some GTE info about performance at Road America, got the data from the video I posted in the video thread.
Top speed was taking from the end of the main straight and all cars have "standard setup with some minor tweaks".
Aston Martin Vantage GTE
Top speed: 267
Lap time: 2:06.688
BMW M6 GTLM
Top speed: 265
Lap time: 2:06.114
Chevrolet Corvette C7.R GTE
Top speed: 266
Lap time: 2:08.318
Ferrari 488 GTE
Top speed: 268
Lap time: 2:07.104
Ford GT LM
Top speed: 271
Lap time: 2:06.418
Slowest is the Corvette but in the video he didn't seem to have a very good balance, looked like he had to much turn in and the rear was quite loose which could be solved with set up changes.

The BOP info is cool. However, as mentioned, I'd be careful comparing those times to what any of us can do in game.Maybe they have BOP-ed the 2016 regs down to match Aston and Corvette? I'd rather they do it the other way around so its a step up from GT3.
The BOP info is coll. However, as mentioned, I'd be careful comparing those times to what any of us can do in game.
I guess if we simulate the 2016 events, that may be fine, but LT3.0 is going to change the tracks each time. Plus player's skill levels(I understand, when it comes to video games, there are game players, that can drive faster than RL racers).
I wasnt comparing the times and speeds to real life, I'm comparing them to each other in game, its the same guy, same conditions etc hes going as fast as he can in each of the cars and hes getting very diffent times with each car.
Sounds about right. In GT3, I was more suited to the stability of the Bentley than the looseness and quickness of the Z4.Most likely reason for this would be that those cars suit his driving style and the ones he's going slow in don't suit his style.
Mainly because the PC cars are now out of the way. They aren't as far off as they used to be in 2015.
Not to mention that each time he enters the track with a new car it could very well be different track conditions (temps, etc.) What evidence do we have that conditions are 100% identical each time? Most likely reason for this would be that those cars suit his driving style and the ones he's going slow in don't suit his style.
WEC used to be slower at COTA by more than a second. Not IMSA slower.Mainly because the PC cars are now out of the way.
Even if the track is set to 10am, Clear, Spring, I still want to know how LT3.0 affects each session.Mainly because the PC cars are now out of the way.

If it's the same starting settings why would it be different track conditions?Even if the track is set to 10am, Clear, Spring, I still want to know how LT3.0 affects each session.
