There are certain cars that simply belong in a game like P Cars 2: the ACR Viper is THAT car.

I figure since the Z06 is included that the ACR has a good chance too.

The sequel is filling out the car roster well though. Good to see more Japanese, Italian, German and American cars on the scene. Their British bias is present but their choices are great.

Out of curiosity, in what way? The Viper isn't used in racing series around the world anymore and doesn't fit into a historic category.

The ACR Viper, the road going American car that has claimed multiple lap records? Lol

I hope we are on the same page thinking about the same car. That car belongs so badly.

I know. Just with most cars and all cars of this type, there is usually a road car associated with it or it's a race car only. There are few cars that are in game that don't have a racing equivalent. I don't class the Viper as one of those cars that's that special. I can see them adding the road going Bentley Continental far earlier than a Viper.

While the Viper doesn't run this year, it did run a fair amount last year and before in GT3. Many cars in game seem to be 2016, so I tho it would be a good choice. There aren't very many current American sports cars to go around as it is.

Yes. I see where you're coming from and would welcome those. But he's arguing that the road car is the perfect car for the game which it isn't. The game isn't for Road Cars. Yes, there are some but they're mostly with an accompanying race car or are a significant car in terms of being wild like the Gumpert and 720S.

Just being devils advocate now but isn't the ACR the super crazy track day version of a viper? For that reason it would fit in with the higher end sports cars that are built like that from the ground up

Ah. Damn. I was thinking of the standard Viper. My view still stands though.

The one with the racing stripe because race car. I would love that and the Corvette Z06 and Mustang GT350. No Hellcat, that thing is just stupid

I wouldn't say the hellcat is stupid lol butit dosent belong on project cars. The gt350R, z/28 would fit nicely

TVs. These days, there is very little difference. Yes, things like response time are better on dedicated monitors, but considering what you get vs what you pay, I will go the TV route every time.
Me myself, I went with 40" TV's to give the most bang for my buck. It suffers a little from response time and probably could have got better visual quality with monitors but it is very immersive.
This makes me think of another aspect in differences of perspective. I could never settle for the average HDTV because the input latency is unacceptable, and part of the reason for that is I play many other games besides racing sims. I clung to my CRT TV for years, and I was perfectly happy with that because the minimal latency was worth it. If the immersion of large triple screens is a priority, imagine driving in letterboxed 480i on a 20" tube. I now have a monitor with a third-party deinterlacer box, because hooking up old consoles and playing games with virtually zero latency was my priority.

While there are individuals who could be termed "sim racing hobbyists", who have the full sim-racing setup and don't really play anything else, I'm a gamer. Like I said before, PCARS is just another videogame to me...but that doesn't mean I only have a casual interest in the depth of its simulation or honing my driving skills. There are more than just hobbyists and casual players.

Project CARS is more hardcore than the GT/Forza paradigm but not as dry and skeletal as PC sims, which has placed it in the unique position of drawing unsatisfied players from either side of the spectrum, with remarkable success given the track record of GT clones and hardcore sims. 👍 So let's remember that not everyone is in this for maximum immersion or the complete "simulation experience".

In "Japanese Cars Pack", what is version of "Euro-spec’ Honda Civic Type R" : 2015, 2016 or 2017 ?
hope to see 2017 Honda Civic Type R (Euro Spec) coming with new nurburg record ! :gtpflag:
what a beautiful time Attack version of 2017 !

I have seen both videos from Donut Media and I don't know what to believe anymore.
Either they are vlogging some stuff or there's really something between them and SMS.

On the Microsoft RU website, the game shows up with a release date of September 8th. Hummm...

I think that's too early. I'd say it would be late September/early October.

Also, so does every other language.
