Let's see what you can do.
Don't see how this works. He is a customer and expects a good product and it's not up to his standard. Asking what he can do when he's a paying customer is idiotic.

Let's apply it to another situation. You receive a cold burger at a burger restaurant. You go back and complain. They reply "Let's see what you can do." Doesn't exactly work.

Better response than "I almost fainted the graphics were so bad"

But that was a fact, I had semi seizures as well, my brain had trouble comprehending and finding the logic as to how a product can be released like this, knowing the competition out there, in such state. My own train of thought and logic went out the door. I felt like I was in the Truman show when he finds out his world was a hoax...I thought I was back in 1994 on a PS1 in Astoria queens playing ridge racer with my friends. I looked in the mirror to check to see if my body had reversed in time as well. you can say I suffered vertigo instead of a seizure.

Thank you,

i've read that many users are moaning about the over-focus on dirt and oval stuffs in pcars 2. Will see.
Lots of people in the sim racing community will moan about anything that doesn't fit within their own very narrow bubble of what they want to see in a simulation game or the "right way" to play one...

The physics improvements necessary to pull off rallycross without making a mess of it can only benefit everything else, because PCARS1 has issues with oversteer, catching air, getting up on two wheels, bumps or curbs, and collisions with other cars. As for ovals, they were reportedly held back from PCARS1 because of the AI, so progress on ovals implies better AI for everyone. 👍

I understand it's a port from the PC, but yea, it was bad. I share played it with an online friend...he was laughing most of the time. Still can't customize the controller? ***ing joke.

It did, however, make me appreciate P Cars so much more. P Cars is the new standard.

I cant believe the people in that AC forum brag about playing garbage like that, the stuttering, the HORRIBLE graphics... the terrible track details, the interior details on the old cars, the frame rate skipping, I moved the camera to the side and it looked like the car was glidding on the tracks, this was one of my worst purchases, it was with me less than 20 minutes...cut my losses and returned it to gamestop... "thank god that's over" I literally almost fainted when I saw the graphics the first time, I wish I taped myself.

To be fair, the people that tend to be the most ardent Assetto Corsa supporters — and I can't stress "ardent" enough — are playing the PC version. It's a much different creature than the original console release.

If this is your response to less than 20 minutes of gameplay of a game that looks a little last-gen at worst, every day life must be a minefield.

Oh yeah — your pointless, insulting post has been deleted. Keep the attitude up and your time here will be short.

Let's see what you can do.

This argument never works. I don't have to make a movie to know Transformers is terrible, for instance. Or build a car to know a Pinto is a dangerous mess.

Lots of people in the sim racing community will moan about anything that doesn't fit within their own very narrow bubble of what they want to see in a simulation game or the "right way" to play one...

QFT. I smashed that Like button harder than a 12 year old Youtuber on a caffeine high.

Seeing as Nissan will come into the series. (Most likely) Which of these do people think will come into the game? If you're wondering, it's from the unconfirmed DLC list.

  • 1982 Nissan KRD30 Super Silhouette
  • 1989 Nissan GTP ZX-T or 1990 NPT-90
  • 1990 Nissan R90CK
  • 1990 Nissan Skyline GT-R R32 Group A
  • 1994 Nissan 300ZX IMSA GTS
  • 1999 Nissan Primera BTCC
  • 2003 Nissan Skyline GT-R R43 Gt500
  • 2014 Nissan ZEOD
  • 2013 Nissan Altima V8 Supercar
  • 2013 Nissan 370Z GT4
  • 2013 Nissan GTR GT3
Personally, I can see the GT3, GT4 and V8SC coming and one of the Group Cs. I'd like to see the GT500 coming in as a new class as well as the BTCC but don't see those being as realistic. The Group A is distinctly possible with what they've currently got. Although, all this depends on how Nissan is with licensing, each car and how easy the cars are to find.

@jake2013guy -- The one I really want is the Gr.A R32. That's my favorite time period and class among European and Japanese touring cars; I would love to see JTC/JTCC cars from multiple Japanese manufacturers and some of the corresponding Japanese circuits like the real Suzuka (don't get me wrong, Sakitto is fun to drive), Sugo, Tsukuba, and a "classic" Fuji from before they mutilated the last section before the front straight.

Just Tsukuba by itself ranks high on my wishlist for tracks. I guess I got very cozy with it in Enthusia.

There are definitely more rallycross tracks than DiRT Rally, the game contents are still mostly closed track tarmac.

Wait so you're telling me there might possibly be a full IMSA GTO class? Please lawd let it be true.

Not full but there are more cars than the last game.

If this game has a Ferrari 458, then I'll preorder it and sell Pcars 1. I really hope they make the game easier on controller users too. All the DLC I paid for the last time around better be in the base game. But I'd still recommend buying GT Sport as well because the online community is gonna die pretty quick on PS4, it did for the first game, I can't find any decent lobbies anymore so it's single player only now.

Edit: wrong thread.

Anyway, that Primera.

I doubt we will see that class of cars in pCARS, Renault Laguna BTCC was dumped due to lack of referencing source and switch for RS01 and Formula 3.5 in pCARS 1.

Couldn't all those issues be resolved if the team decides to go the HSCC route?

I am really curious if we finally see some Super TC2000 from Argentina making an appearance or the TN3 class. I'll probably know the answer already...:indiff:

Just to clarify, this is speculation based on what was Unconfirmed in the PC1 car list of the Nissans.

This is the reason why I pretty much discarded the idea of the BTCC. I'd love to have it no doubt but it's unlikely.

Also, the Group A is an addition to a current class with decent numbers despite a few omissions in the Opel, Audi and the Alfa which makes it more realistic to me.

In regards to tracks, i'd like to see them keep Sakitto anyway and add Suzuka as well. Sugo's a circuit that i've never seen in a game that hasn't got bikes. Currently, i'd rather they focused on the modern circuits and get the current Fuji first. Although that would probably come with the same license deal anyway based on how most circuits should/do it.

I'm surprised you didn't mention Motegi as that's another Japanese circuit. Although it's a more technical circuit than the ones you mentioned.

We've only seen 2 at the moment which are Wildcrest and Sampala. Although some have speculated Hell. (The Norway circuit from WorldRX)

According to Ian Bell here, it's weeks and not months until their marketing campaign.

I think we can all agree that DiRT Rally's 3 Rallycross venues (each with 3 layouts) was too little. Sebastien Loeb Rally Evo had 6 I think (plus Hell as DLC).

To my mind, anything less than 6 venues is not enough for a serious Rallycross portion to the game, no matter how many layouts they give us.

I was never much of a fan of Motegi...though I might enjoy it more with PCARS physics instead of Gran Turismo's. But I was simply listing some of the circuits from the JTC calendar in the early '90s, where the R32 GT-R raced.

Ferrari F355 Challenge is probably the most well-known game to include Sugo.

Fair enough about Motegi. I just suggested it as it's more well known than other circuits you listed.

Didn't know about Ferrari F355 Challenge. Good spot.

Totally agree, i just reported what i've read across the web. I do not have any access to the game or official forum. However there are tons of very positive spoilers.

"The FFB system is now much more intuitive and comes with presets."
Well, I like the sound of that. :)

"I'm biased I know but right now in the latest build I have, those cars that have all of the new systems in place have raised the bar for simulation."
This sounds more like pure marketing to be honest, but I sure hope it turns out to be at least partially true.

A quick sidenote: In case pCARS 2 backers haven't dropped by the WMD2 forums lately.

There is a snapshot moment on 31st January for collecting the names of backers to use as AI. If you haven't configured your real name details correctly or if you were thinking about upgrading toolpack to Gold for the AI naming perk, then doing so in January is necessary.

Despite being disappointed at the condition of the first game at launch, pCARS still came the closest to nailing what I wanted from a modern sim.

With that in mind, I think a stellar first trailer could bring me back to the series. I just hope that new features haven't totally prioritized polishing the overall game experience.

For as much as I moan about the game, I still put quite a few hours into the game (more so than Forza 6 and Assetto Corsa) so I'll be keeping tabs on the upcoming marketing push.

PRC has an article that says PCARS2 will have ovals.
I'm not posting a link because it has bad language, and anything PRC publishes can be taken with a grain of salt.
Still interesting news for those who were left disappointed when ovals were not in PCARS.

This was confirmed to be in when they said about having fixed the issue from PC1. However, interesting screenshots. :)

I thought the first screen was Forza when I saw most of the UI in the first but I like it. Looks like a Drive Through penalty has been implemented as well.

The last screenshot contains a Nissan GT3.
