Yeah... been everything but summer this last two weeks around here too. But I CAN play... almost... have not touched pC2 in 4 days with house being "remodeled"...

Don't know what's worse. having and being unable to play or not having at all :D

No custom championship & no way to select our individual Ai opponents is a huge disappointment.
We knew it wasn't going to be in Day 1.
I don't think it has been stated as a guaranteed feature, but it has been mentioned that it will likely be possible to create an "Online" Championship with a single user and the remainder of the field populated by AI.

You can certainly create "online" single races like this in the first game. With the Online Custom Championship Feature, it seems likely this would be possible.

It sounds a bit messy i mean why not just incorporate it into one player mode if it is possible? Why do we have to select opponents by class when it was heavily requested to allow us to pick the cars. I love how you can do this in AC, I can select the exact grid as well as the livery for every car & save it as a preset & obviously build custom championships with full control. The issue with not being able to select the grid is not so much a problem with race cars as you would probably want to select the whole class but more so with road cars as you may want to race specific cars against each other.

I wholeheartedly agree. Thing is, now we can choose the 4 classes(A-G this time) we want on the grid. So, now we can have a field of road cars, without super fast cars in the mix.
I'd love to pick individual cars, it I'm happy with what I'm seeing.

Not sure if this has been posted before, but it looks so awesome!

That was posted a few days ago along with another taken from a slightly different angle. It looks great.

Cannot wait to get to Circuit de la Sarthe in PCars2.

Wonder if they've changed the ambiance. Night time driving was said to be amped up. Add in the night time pit stop action, should be like nothing we've seen before(on console), in this capacity.

Do the GTE and LMP class cars have that neon lighting in the cockpit? Quite cool to see at night time.
That doesn't seem to be there based on the couple of night pictures we've seen of GTE. Never would of thought of it until your post but it's hardly important.

While we're waiting for pit stop videos. Anyone remember that Gran Turismo trailer showing Super GT500 cars pitting at Motegi? That's what I'm expecting PC2 pitstops to look like. Especially at the big circuits. 45 cars for the win!

No, not super important. Just one of those things that adds ambience to endurance racing. I always race in dark and I installed a red LED strip over my keyboard that I turn on when I need it, reminds me of the GTE cockpits lol.

That was taken from the new photomode options I believe Ian Bell said, I may have missed it, but I don't think there is any further info yet on what new settings are available for the upgraded photomode and how it works. I hope we have faster sliders, and more realistic options. It looks like it will be 4k on PS4 Pro and that photo also looks like the shutter speed and aperture/focus is better (less fuzzy around the car).. I think the opportunities for photos will be nearly unlimited with livetrack 3.0 having different weather and track detail. Looking forward to getting this game 👍....:)

Without revealing much, the photomode has undergone an overhaul and does use more 'photographer-friendly' terminology (although it's all Greek to me :D).

That shot, as explained before, is damn close to what can be achieved on-track at any given moment by just pausing in external-cam. The only major changes were the filter used along with a couple of other tweaks. I must stress, though, that the shot was taken only using the Photo Mode and the features within it, it underwent no post-shot processing and no external injectors were used, so that there could be no accusations of 'bullshot'. Other than resizing to be more forum-friendly (given that the 4K original was a 35MB uncompressed BMP!), what you see there is exactly what I saw on my screen and what anybody can do (on PC at least - no idea what the console version looks like) with just a few seconds work :)

Thanks..for the info:cheers:. I do hope some of these features carry forward from the 4k PC build to the Consoles for us :gtpflag: photographers 👍

Track list was copied wrong obviously with for example Watkins Glen and Zolder missing.

Don't know if the car list is complete. If so, I'm missing the street legal Caterhams and the modern Mercedes DTM car.

DTM was never expected to return with licensing being a nightmare in that department.

This is worrisome. The gameplay with a pad looks numb and indirect. I don't know if it's due to his input speed, the assists, or the new gamepad handling model but it just looks sluggish. Reminds me of Forza Motorsport and its obnoxious gamepad handling. The steering just looks slooowwww and it doesn't seem like the game actually ever gives him full control of the car.

This makes total sense with everything they have going on. I was beginning to wonder how all this was possible.

Mistake post,sorry.
