Car list...

http://www.projectcarsgame.com/the-cars.html?lang=en

The strangest omission from this list is the '69 Chevrolet Camaro Trans Am car, which was featured heavily in the sizzle trailer.

Also strange is that some of the known DLC (the Civic Type-R, for instance) is listed while other cars are not (Honda Project 2&4, Jaguar E-Type Gr 44, etc).

I've only been playing with controller for some months. It's reached the stage that I can't find anything to suggest to the team to improve it further 'without overly intrusive filtering' and I think that's where it should be IMO. I can categorically say it's much much more controllable, intuitive and enjoyable than it was in pCARS1.

There are no 'fake' input filters beyond some opposite lock help where we'll put you roughly in the right window of lock when you counter steer to catch an oversteer moment.

It looks like Alan is on that same E3 build where I now have my doubts that everything was tuned as it should be.
The proof is in the pudding. Rather than having videos displaying behaviours that can create a lot of doubt around controller optimization in the game and then explaining why there might be issues in the videos we see, how about making a video specifically highlighting a good working controller setup, tell us how the different controls work, and, most of all, show us someone who is a skilled controller user, driving a variety of cars at the limit? More than one member has posted about the pad working fine in the game, how about letting them make a demo video so we can all be reassured that everything is indeed ok? Maybe Alan is not a controller guy and that's fine, let's see someone who is, driving the cars the way they are meant to be driven.

I'd be more than happy to do this. However, I could only do this with the agreement of SMS and would fully understand if they were against it.

Strange...Lots of cars missing. I guess it's a WIP list :)

I realize it has to go through official channels which is why I directed my response to Ian. If it's done it'll be negotiated through the official forums, via email etc. I am a member of the current WMD Forum and I'm invested in the outcome of this game. I don't and never will play with a pad but most gamers do and, in 2017, I think you'd agree that we shouldn't have to take someone's word for something when it's so easy to simply record and release the relevant information, especially with something as crucial as controller optimization.

I can't believe stock car's aren't in the game. Like.......we got the ovals but now the stock car's are gone. Unless it's in the game and SMS forgot to mention it in the list.
I think there is still hope for the Fusion. I do not hold out much hope for the Caper though. We'll see. If they are indeed out, that's a fairly significant miss on their part. It seems strange that including a single car, a Stock Car at that, would be missed, but they'll miss out on an entire segment of fans would would buy the game if ONLY to race them at Daytona, Indianapolis and Texas. There are still NASCAR fans who only play GT6 to race those cars at Daytona and Indianapolis.

The list is incomplete as it is missing known DLC. That's weird.
Other parts of the list are like a swimsuit...it conceals as much as it reveals.

Anything about the NASCAR's?
As I stated elsewhere, SMS has already confirmed the Ford Fusion "NASCAR" is returning as it was in pCARS1. This was confirmed in a reply to this specific question on their official Twitter feed.

Feel free to dig through. If I can find it again I will post a screen shot/link as well. It was at least a week ago.

Still looking for the Fusion specific tweet, but for now there is this.

I've known the list for some time but its really nice to see it presented like this, its very well balanced & thought out & of course some spaces to be filled from lambo, toyota & ferrari.
I think we know the reason RUF is not in & it's a shame but understandable but i really hope the Atom makes a return as it was a favorite in the first game. And the Aston Martin DBR1-2 looks unlikely so who knows why that is dropped.
Only really wish there was more classic cars like for example the group 4 doesn't seem to get much love but had some fantastic cars in the 70s.

PCARS2 will have the coolest lineup of retro racecars I've ever seen in a racing sim. :) 👍 I've wanted more of that in a sim like this since GT Legends. It will really help me to engage with the game's motorsports angle to have other options besides dreadful 201x cars.

I'm still hoping for some classic Porsche roadcars as DLC, because the CTR was the only Ruf I drove in PCARS1. :(

All the fictional, modern open wheelers have Yokohama tires now. Before we'd see Faretti, Yiro, etc. Is that a second tire partnership that has yet to be revealed?

My word. That's a great spot.

Also, they've removed the TCR ending from the AMG and the Megane. Maybe they're Super 2000. Maybe keep the Astra separate and add via DLC. Would be my preferred option.
