The videos with pad, I still see very, very abrupt ... Less than in the cars of project 1, but very abrupt still...... Mmmmmm.... And one last question: Where is Le mans classic? Thank you.

@IanBell @The_American - sorry to spam this here - but I was too slow to get in on the WMD action this time round alas :)

Based on the vids seen in the last few days - wanted to pass on some fairly significant track side discrepancies in case your team are able and inclined to update:

Donnington Park - After first turn all the way through to Mcleans on your right (inside the track) is not dirt anymore - its all lush green grass that you see now. Its very out of place in comparison to real life.

Oulton Park - inside Druids - a lot of the trees were cut down at least last year maybe earlier - Its quite open there now.

Appreciate it is probably too late now but thought Id at least pass it on.

I really hope it comes with some epic DLC from the 70ties  but for now we have to settle for the modern version.
¡Ohhhhh, yes! Matra, Peugeot, Ferrari Coda Lunga, Porsche 917 K and 917 k LT.... I just want classic LM cars from the 70 or 60 ... I would be very happy .... It's the combination I most want, without a doubt.

At least, Oulton Park, was laser scanned like PC1. I don't know whether it's been rescanned. And with Donington Park being owned by the same group, there's a chance that's been scanned too and they'll have been scanned a fair while ago so I doubt these updates were finished/being done.

I have seen in some videos option for custom skins but only one slot. i was under the impression we wasn't going o be able to add them at all? Thats a huge bonus if we can but quite perplexing if only one custom skin option. Can anyone confirm what we will get?

Is there bump drafting and side-drafting on the ovals?

Bump drafting is similar to aspiration in classic race (but near)

and side drafting is explain here : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D_9Y7oFQqFE

Well seeing they updated Watkins Glen i figured I would at least wave a flag in case they would consider updating.

Oulton Park is easily my fav drive in Pcars 1 and Donnington 2nd.

I can live with Oulton Park with the trees as Druids but Donnington is night and day in comparison so hope they are able to re-texture those areas.

Fair enough.

What is the biggest amount of AI cars you can select? I saw a video with 31 cars. Will it be more on Le Mans for example?

It was 43 at places like Watkins Glen, Sonoma and Zhuhai so yes. Although I'd like to know the maximum cars at all circuits.

Max grid at Bathurst, Nurb 24, etc. All the big tracks. Cool to see 45 cars at Monza and Road America, but is disappointing couldn't do the same at Le Mans, Silverstone, etc.

I wouldn't want to see a reduction in grid sizes on PS4 from what we had in PCars 1.

Right, me neither. I'm surely not expecting an increase in grid size with the addition of features like live track 3.0 and better graphics etc. But I'm hoping it didn't compromise being able to run the same amount as pc1.

Yeah it would be nice. I hope we will get this :)

I would like to apologize to anybody I may have rubbed the wrong way the last few days, especially @IanBell. I'm not sure what came over me but that's not the way I want to carry myself.

Hopefully you can forgive me and we can continue on friendlier terms.
That's not enough! You must buy us all Project CARS 2 and all DLC so we can have your community you want!

I think there's lots of very friendly folks around here. Forgiveness, in my experience, comes quite easily. Finding competitive, respectful, online racers, whom can also race during the hours you're available, can be quite a challenge. This is a great place to find them. And in my opinion, PCars 2 is THE GAME to race them in! I race with friends every week in PCars 1. Sure, there are some imperfect parts of the game we have to work around. But we still love racing each other in this game; And we're dying to get our hands on a better version of what we currently love. So, in my opinion, it's hard to hear someone speak negatively about something that's going to be even better than what I've already accepted as my favorite game - even though it has admitted flaws. You're definitely entitled to your opinions, and I think everyone here will respect that. But this is kind of a place for people that are excited to share in their excitement. So handle the criticisms with kid-gloves. Still, I'd be happy to add you to my friends list and race with you.

No need to apologise and don't let it worry you. We all have off days where we end up posting things we wish we hadn't. And I think we all take this hobby a little too seriously at times!

The next few months are going to see the release of a bunch of new racing games and I can't wait to play the crap out of them all. PC2 is looking like it will be my favourite but I know the others will give me hours of enjoyment too.
