@jake2013guy @TexasTyme214

Just shows how much i'm interested in career :D I haven't noticed that.
I haven't noticed that. But wrt to tyre brands that's probably just licenced brands for use. Like Suspension brands like bilstein or ohlins.

in any case, good spot. I also only drive in cockpit. I wouldn't read what's on the tyres :)

And wrt to liveries, I just wished that every car had a #23 in the # plate. Everything else is just like buying a motorcycle replica.. i want MY livery not others :P

Can we all just take a moment to appreciate that in all the videos posted it seems like they go out of their way to bump someone under braking or somewhere just to prove it's been fixed. Like they were told by Ian and the gang to make sure the gameplay videos include that.
Nope that's not what we were told at all. We were told we could post any videos or screenshots from the most recent build. Why all the bloody conspiracy?

I haven't noticed an abundance of this at all, but it's not like the videos are from pro drivers, so bumping is expected anyway.

I blame Stefano :)

Hello @IanBell , can I ask if cars with no headlights will race on tracks with poor illumination (at night obviously)? It would look a bit weird to have the AI driving perfectly in pitch black.

Also, as I posted before, are there any more recent updates on controller usability?

If the track is dark and the cars have no headlights then... have a dark fun race. We'd be accused of being 'simcade' if we put lights on formula cars, but we also don't want to impose restrictions.

I'm putting in bets that the project cars franchise will be the first to have atleast all types of motorsport. For some reason i see them including motogp bikes and tracks in the game. If they do this and expand on the rest of the game, what is the point of buying any other game than project cars.:gtplanet::gtpflag:

I hope motor bikes is left out at least until we have all car motorsports including the formula Mack trucks( say project cars 6 lol)...only then it would be cool to have an all in one type of game.

I prefer they keep focussing on circuit racing because that is what interests me the most. The recreation of old and forgotten tracks are very welcome even when not laserscanned! I find it fantastic to see those former greats in all their virtual beauty and it makes one realise how big the "cohones" were from the likes of Hill, Ickx, Pescarolo, Beltoise and others heros.

@IanBell Ever thought about covering the true 100+ years of Motorsport and let the players relive it in all its greatness?

Can we all have a serious moment here. I have a question regarding the free dlc which included a car or livery pack, will these be returning???

I think this is what you are looking for. 👍
Yeah. We're absolutely not holding to a monthly content/feature and bug fix frequency. The process of clearing any update with 1st parties is convoluted and that we maintained it every month for 11 months is a minor miracle. It was also all such a rush that we occasionally introduced new bugs in the scramble.

So as of now, the rough plan is every 3 months and although I can't detail the DLC planned I can say it's ''really cool' :)

Multiple people gave you a warm welcome when you voiced your concerns and were very respectful towards you.

Please, enlighten me. The only time I've felt welcome in this section is the is the time where I was discussing cockpits, otherwise it's not been a pleasant experience trying to get into this game.

The game itself looks great, but what good is a modern game if I can't enjoy the community features?

Whatever man, I can't help you more than I have. Keep posting away while the rest of us enjoy the gtplanet community.

In my experience you have to find a community to race with.
Public races are rarely any fun.

I've been lucky to find 2 leagues with really good guys where the banter and racing make me keep turning up for races.
We're all very excited for PCars2 and are already planning our league season.

Start here.

I also find it hilarious that @IanBell is criticizing Stefano for putting PC down when he and his staff do the same bloody thing!
That's great and all but no idea what it has to do with me as I didn't post anywhere near the part of the thread you linked. And there is a big difference between putting down other games, most would call it highlighting what your game does better but whatever, and accusing someone of 'shady' practices, no?

I also own a PS4, Xbone and PC. I buy, play and like all the racing games that are released. I also say nice things about them all when warranted and criticise them all when they deserve it. I'm part of this whole community not a little bit of it. So where you get this weird notion that I'm part of the PCars community I have no idea.

Know what's crazy? This was the first post I saw on Facebook. From my brother:

Man, let it go and move on. I even typed, non sarcastically, that I was not offended "Seriously".

The world keeps spinning, we have a new game to be excited about. A senior rep for PC2 is chatting with us, regularly, for the past 5 months. Jordan has created, along with many contributing moderators, a place for all people to commune.

The world isn't perfect and there is no law that you have to like a thing, but damn, I'm 46 years old. Pick up your big boy pants, shake it off, shake hands like people used to do when I was little and keep it moving.
