I have an XBONE. PC1 is pretty good on XBONE(and that is with some skipping during replays). I wouldn't think PC2 game play to go backwards.

Anyone question the GT-R GT3's sound? I think its off...

I noticed this too! It doesn't sound like the real thing.
It must be a placeholder sound because it sounds like the road version. Anyway hopefully they get the sound more towards the real life sound before release.

Here's a sound comparison:

i saw some "Hot wheels" sign in 2 tracks.
No " Hot wheels" Additionnal Content, please ! :banghead::crazy::mad::scared::ouch:
Thanks
There's Hot Wheels livery on one of the race cars. Who knows what collaborations are in the works.

Maybe we get the Hot Wheels drift cars(Camaro and Mustang).

Don't they just scale down graphics and "port" Pcars to PS4/Xbone?
Porting software, like kunos did (pairing with another studio for most of it) does not happen at SMS their engines are modular, scalable and bar differences between systems that need specific optimisations pc2 is developed in parallel for all three.
Was much harder to do ofc Olin previous gen consoles, sony PS3 in particular but even in pc1 all three platforms were developed side by side.

Say wah? :confused::dunce::lol:

Basically, the Madness engine (Used for Project CARS 1. Probably 2 with some revisions) was designed so it was easier to transfer from something solely developed for PC to that which would be optimised well for consoles excluding the specific differences for each console of course..

Regarding Career mode, we now know that instead of having 3 Historic Goals like in PC1 (Zero to Hero, Defending Champ and Triple Crown), we will get Lifetime Goals. There are 7 of them, and they replicate real world motorsport achievements.

"Dominate the same championship year-on-year, win three blue riband events on the motorsport calendar such as the Indy 500 and Le Mans 24 Hours, become a factory driver for elite brands such as Ferrari and Porsche, or seal immortality with wins in three different motorsport disciplines."

I like the factory driver aspect. Its why I'm stuck between choosing to represent Audi or Nissan.

In other news, that new Sega Super GT game, looks to have sealed the fate of ever getting a Super GT licence.

Hopefully it´s not exclusive. SuperGT would be, by far, the best license SMS could get. Half a dozen cars and two or three tracks would already do wonders. I would pay top dollars for this DLC.

By far? Really? I can name a few which I'd deem to be better.

TCR International. A variety of circuits and adds to a car class that many would agree is the weakest and allows for exposure to manufacturers where other cars could be added. Also, TCR spec cars are used in many series already. GT500 is not.

BTCC. Same as TCR.

Mazda Road to Indy. Gives a further incentive to increase the oval count and adds a fair few cars.

24h Series. Promotes the idea of run what you have. Many circuits and many cars not in game.

Yes, I'd agree that Super GT is great. But I disagree that it's the best series SMS could add.

We already have those type of cars though. Super GT are on another level of performance. They lapped within 4 seconds of LMP-H cars at Fugi before this years regulation changes.

To be honest, none of the sounds are 100% accurate.

We had something like a Super GT500 with the DTM last game. We have most of the cars with the GT3s.

It's not that great. I'd much rather have Mazda R2I than a full Super GT license and I find it a lot more realistic considering their previous relationships.

There has been no BTCC content (licensed) since the early-mid 2000s and they are faster than TCR and Super 2000. A lot of people want BTCC content and I'd say more than Super GT and the majority of other series.

I don't get why you add speed as a point. So what? Yes, I wouldn't say no to GT500 spec cars. I'd like them as well but this is about a series license.

However, what he said was that "SuperGT would be, by far, the best license SMS could get" and I stated categories which would be better licenses for the game. Many of them haven't been in a game at all. For many cars, Super GT would just add a bunch of liveries. For TCR International (TCR Russia has Lada which is why I said that specifically.), we have one of the official cars with 8 other possibilities in the 2017 season including new additions Kia and Audi. BTCC, we have none with 11 different car models for 2017 available.

Those categories were just examples of series wanted more than Super GT and possibly adds cars and tracks. (Which is why I didn't add Blancpain GT)
