We don't need a poll. Everyone has their own opinion and we'll debate it until the end of time or until everyone gets bored of it.I smell a poll coming.

Fair enough. But I feel a Super GT license would just add few tracks, liveries and some GT500s. Seeing as Motegi and Suzuka aren't coming in until the sales reach maybe the 10m mark (because of the 6 figure sum I hear about) , I'd say approaching each manufacturer for their GT500 and others would be a better solution. And approach Autopolis and Buriram separately. To me SuperGT would be the ultimate "now i don´t need Gran Turismo for anything" feature.
It´s highly personal, i know. Changes a lot from people to people. I love GT3 spec cars, but i find them a bit weak in performance, i think DTM-SuperGT are the sweet spot.
I know a lot of people love SuperGT cars for different reasons, to me personally these were the cars i races the most in every Gran Turismo game, so it would be nice to have them in a proper sim.
I would love to have the old BTCC cars in it, but they would be like 4th or 5th in order of preference.
But hey, it´s all fun and games, there´s no series that´s perfect for everyone, which is why is so great to have this much variety in Pcars.
I noticed this too! It doesn't sound like the real thing.
It must be a placeholder sound because it sounds like the road version. Anyway hopefully they get the sound more towards the real life sound before release.
Here's a sound comparison:
Maybe someone can correct me if im wrong. But it looks like the Bathurst track isn't laser scanned. On the decent at forest elbow, there was an abrupt bump on the road which can cause rear wheel lock ups. If you look on the GT Sport and the real life version, its quite smooth. On Pcars 2 you can notice the bump at the same spot as it was in Pcars1.
This video also shows this bump clearly
Maybe someone can confirm this but.

Is this the first game (without using mods to include cars) that has every current GT3-homologated vehicle?

#NotMyGT3I think the only ones that are missing are the Lexus RC-F and Glickenhaus SCG003.
EDIT: Tree'd.
I'd still like to try it out. Hardly the traditionally homologated production vehicle, but neither is the Ford GT. The technology on this cat is cool, and I look forward to it's eventual inclusion is some racing game.#NotMyGT3
Nords in PC2 is scanned, in PC1 it wasn'tThe bump at the right-hander before the straight at the end of Nords also seems really harsh in pCARS1, wonder if that's gone now.
Isn't it in AC as DLC? I know it was first touted for GTR3, but who knows when that's coming. Would be a fine addition to PCars 2.I'd still like to try it out. My brother is friends with Jim. I'll ask him.I'd still like to try it out. Hardly the traditionally homologated production vehicle, but neither is the Ford GT. The technology on this cat is cool, and I look forward to it's eventual inclusion is some racing game.
The SCG is in Assetto Corsa which is *almost* a racing game now.I'd still like to try it out. Hardly the traditionally homologated production vehicle, but neither is the Ford GT. The technology on this cat is cool, and I look forward to it's eventual inclusion is some racing game.
This is a complete oversight on my behalf. I have all the DLC for Assetto but haven't realized the SCG is in the game . Frankly, I just can't ever find open lobby's to race in when I'm online, I'm not big into hot-lapping, and Assetto's AI has never really left me with a warm fuzzy feeling. So I haven't played much Assetto in the past couple months. But I WILL BE doing some laps tonight now that I know I can try out the SCG! Thank you for bringing me up to date .The SCG is in Assetto Corsa which is *almost* a racing game now.
"the 3D model is a bit off" : There are various iterations of the Z4 GT3 depending on year, event, regulations, etc, am I correct ? I can't see SMS reproducing every single variation of each GT3 car except if the brand itself requires it.
It would be cool if for this sort of things (variations and old pCARS1 models) modding could help.
Just now I was watching a video on Youtube on the PCARS 2 car list, and what caught my eye was that some of the cars that were featured in PCARS 1 didn't make it to PCARS 2, and one car that particularly interested me was the 2009 Aston Martin DBR1-2. This car was featured in PCARS 1 in the form of DLC, but unlike the other 2 cars that were also a part of the same Car Pack, this one wasn't featured in PCARS 2. So I'd like to ask: Is it going to be included in PCARS 2 in the future? If not, do any of you know why? Am I forced to buy PCARS 1 if I really want to drive that car? I did a quick search in the 'Q&A with Ian Bell' thread, but found no answer.
The same also applies to the McLaren MP4-12C and its GT3 version, as well as the Mercedes Benz SLS AMG. The Aston Martin DBR1-2 is my main concern and why I'm posting here though, as it's one of my favourite racing cars.
