I'm greatly looking forward to pCARS 2,
especially with all the VR improvements that have been reported. I'll probably be living in this game for at least the next year. There's little doubt that the DLC will be terrific value (based on the first game) but I still think I'll buy the vanilla version and cherry-pick the DLC. I've bought season pases before, sight unseen, and always seem to have buyer's remorse for one reason or another. I'm kind of against season passes on principle now. I'm happy to support deserving devs via DLC and fully understand that it's often an important revenue and cash-flow stream as part of the modern gaming business model, but I want to know exactly what I'm buying in advance now. I don't think I'd be disappointed about upcoming content for pCARS 2 but without knowing what cars and tracks the pass contains (I'm guessing Estoril is in there somewhere?) then it's a hard button to press. I might already loathe those cars or tracks from other sims. Crikey, I tend to race GT cars on the same handful of tracks over and over again, so maybe I'm just a creature of habit. And it's not like the vanilla game is lacking in content..!
