Yea theres a few but not enough to say nah avoid this like the plague. They’ll get ironed out, the scope of the game and its ambition is seriously impressive.

Im having the same problem in the WSCR Series in a Ferrari 488 gt3. I think its a tyre bug. Makes the car feel like on ice while the ai drive off. Waiting for patch before i continue career

Well, I thought Skyrim was pretty buggy, but this seems worse. Definitely the most buggy racing game I've ever played, by far

Personally I’ve encountered very few bugs with the game on PC and lots of very joyful moments. I had an excellent GT3 race at Spa last night in changeable conditions and it was sublime. An experience you will not find in any other game available at the moment or in the near future. Watching puddles grow from lap to lap and having to take that into account with your lines and where the grip is is phenomenal.

I'm on ps4 pro and having this issue. I gotta sit there for like 30 seconds before I can navigate again. Thanks for reporting this issue to Ian bell. I haven't seen him around since the game release. I can understand why though. He gotta go over to the official pcars forum to see what issues people dealing with over there.

Cool story bro. Not only will I be enjoying the wonders of GTS and FM7 this autumn but I’ll also be enjoying the myriad of wonderful experiences, that neither of those two games can give me, in PCars 2. What a time to be a racing game fan!

Yes exactly! I've even started one of the races before the green light to build a gap, but because I have to crawl in the corners I was swallowed up after only a few turns. And at one point I hot lapped for 15 minutes and the tiers never came out of the blue temp range. So I started a new career in Ginetta cup for the meantime but what I'll end up having to do is drop the AI to that of a 2 year old in order to complete the formula "c" series series....

I'm really having fun with the game so far. Sure I didn't played that much but I was truly impressed last night when I did a 15 laps race at Nurburgring GP. I had two random weather slots, foggy & light rain, race started at 4AM and I must say the sunrise is phenomenal with foggy weather. Game looks amazing and runs well on my PC.
I also downloaded a custom FFB profile and it improved things even further.
I haven't noticed any bugs so far but I'm only 2Hours in with most of them setting up and customizing the game.
Dynamic weather & TOD, Sounds, Performance, FFB, Tracks selection and cars selection are all amazing. There might only be 180 cars but I feel I want to drive them all. It isn't 700 Forza cars but I'd rather have a smaller, better selection tbh.
Hopefully SMS will quickly fix most of the bugs for everyone else out there.

The game feels and looks like an early access game. I have a 1080Ti and this game still looks garbage at max settings and the way the cars handle is abysmal.

Anecdotal evidence, but based on the people i´ve talked to, the more serious you are into racing, the more you´re gonna enjoy this game. We´ve been used to bugs here and there, and on PC there´s nothing that´s a game breaker, it´s a bunch of fixable bugs, that´s why i´m not really mad.
It´s different from the demo i´ve played for Forza, where the handling is just completely broken on a wheel and no patch is going to fix this. Some people are over reacting to some bugs, maybe it´s bad on consoles, but the moments when this game clicks, it clicks more than any other racing game in the market.
It´s a normal tendency to focus on what´s wrong, maybe that explains the complaints in these last two or three days.

What someone is ok with in terms of looks is subjective and on that your view is you view, but the cars don't handle absymally.

I feel people complain just for the sake of complaining. That's mostly what most forums are all about anyway. If you're enjoying your new refrigerator you're unlikely going to the Maytag website and talk about it

I want say this before anybody thinks i'm a project cars hater. I wanted to love this game but the game physics is bad,the graphics look last gen and don't get me started on the bugs.There's a reason why sales are down 74% people feel burned.
I am sorry but I disagree with you. I know there is some track that are less beautiful than other but the game looks amazing. Maybe you need to improved your driving skill and adjust your car better. it doesn't drive abysmal at all. Git Gud !

I could never get heat into the Formula Rookie tyres in qualifying but they are warm at the start of the race so I just skip qualifying and start from the back (with the time skip bug it's where I would be anyway).
It has plenty of bugs but it's the best racing game on the current-gen consoles at the moment (F1 2017 is second on my list).
I don't think Iracing has the best physics to be honest. There is a reason why they call it Iceracing. It's not because a game is harder that it is making it more sim. now that being said, there is cars that are model better in PCars 2 than other. Tuning your cars matters a whole lot more than in Iracing. The default tune is atrocious. Once you tweak your car right, it's bloddy fantastic. I would say on par with AC.

Thanks for the answers guys. I agree that our tolerance will be much higher than a lot of casual racers. Hopefully patches come soon.
What I do hope is SMS not abandon the game if it doesn't meet sales expectations.

A question for wheel users and cars with no ABS. What do you usually lower brake pressure to? With ABS I have it at 95%.

Ian's already said they're supporting it for at least a year. That fear seems pretty unfounded.

As an example Ian said that they planned to have one person working solely on AI fixes for the next few months. And with a DLC plan for the next 12 months they have to make the necessary improvements if they want to sell that DLC.

I play all of those games as well and I think it’s got really good physics. So if you think the physics are bad explain, with specific examples as to why you feel that way.
