Even a basic option to choose from the existing suit + helmet combos would be appreciated and shouldn't be that difficult to implement. When racing in cockpit view, you see more of your arms and gloves than the livery you've selected.

The lighting in this game on some screenshots is insane. This could pass for a real photo if you touched up or deleted the P1 in main focus.
When you look at it properly, it looks a real beautiful screenshot. Just look at the reflections on the side. That's fantastic. I almost forgot that Long Beach had sun after looking at all the grey and wet screens we've had. ;)

I didn't say it wasn't a beautiful screenshot, but the car in focus still gives off this cue that it's a game.

It's not meant to take anything away from the graphics. With all the hype that goes on about how great PD makes their games look, I think SMS is on an equal level of visual accomplishment.

I know you didn't but I can see your point. I was just pointing out the reflections I noticed for a reason I thought this was beautiful.

re. the lighting, it's actually been improved since the WMD2 member posted this up on the dev forum. Hard to believe at times, I know :)

This website claims that the Aston Martin Vantage GTE is the 2016 version

and Corvette

Good news if this is true.
We need to have a look at the back of the Aston to see if it's the 2016 version. If it doesn't have a massive diffuser, it's not.

Having a look at the Corvette here in game and here for IMSA 2016. You'll notice that the rear diffusers are hugely different. The game one having a slight angle to it raising as you go further back of the car. In the 2016 model, you'd see that the Corvette has a less angled and more prominent diffuser.

Also, if you have a look at the 2014 model here, you'd see the same diffuser layout as the one we've seen and is in Project CARS 1.

Correct and the wing mirrors are more aero shaped as well on the Aston.

Not sure if this specific question was asked and answered but will vehicles like the Ariel atom, bac mono, ktm xbow r, radical rxc turbo etc...have their own class called track toys or whatever name would go with them? It's a little weird to me at times seeing the Ariel race against McLaren f1's and Ruf ctr's even though I know power to weight ratios are similar. Would be nice
