Having a look at the actual Daytona RX layout, it seems that the jokers are the wrong way round as it's the inside line that's the joker and the outside line is the normal line.

Funny that the focus of the promo tour is on rallycross now as I've only recently gave it a go for the first time, here's what I wrote on WMD (all content mentioned has been announced already):

"Took the Evo and the Countryman RX to Loheac and it was heaps of fun; the physics and response on dirt felt very natural and with the good steering feel and FFB we have it was a joy fighting the wheel and sliding through those corners. You work the wheel so much that you get a workout so my arms and legs feel sore.

Loheac is a fun track too, and the Countryman had great sounds. Very immersive."

Positive information. Hope we can say the same on release day.

The music in the RX video was too cool. People keep saying how good GTS videos look. Sure they are crisp, but PC videos look like so much fun is being had!

Correct, this is intentional. WRX and GRC have opposite definitions of Joker lap (longer for the former and shorter for the latter) so we are using the WRX "rules" and all joker extensions will be the longer route. Agree not 100% realistic but it was to simplify the rules for players (joker will always mean longer route for pC2). Now if we can just get WRX and GRC to agree next time this would all be a lot easier!

Fair enough. As long as there's a genuine reason and it's consistent.

Also, what about the Barcelona RX layout?

What's your prediction ? ^^
I'd say 190-200 may still be conservative, which is insane if I'm right. There still a while until release and I'm fairly positive there's going to be some curveball major reveals between now and release. Look at Nissan as a new brand, almost double digit cars already. If other new brands follow suite and previous ones are expanded... The RX reveal is a very nice showcase of the new tires and physics as well. A nicely timed reveal if I may say so.

There really is no excuse for uploading gameplay footage with such a dodgy frame rate. The actual game runs a LOT smoother.

I'm actually not bothered by the frame rate at all. There you go, 'no excuse' debunked :-)

I guess you have a really hard time watching any content with less than 60 fps, would drive me nuts too. Extrapolating this into 'everything less than perfectly paced 60 fps is generally unacceptable' in a general sense is quite steep i think.
