I know I've brought it up before, but the Panoz is not even close to its competition. Notice how quickly the AI 911 gets around the AI Panoz in the first lap.

It seems as soon as he goes full brake it just locks up and goes straight, to me it seems that it doesnt lock up that easily in real life? When I watch IMSA GTE cars they hardly lock up unless they brake really late, here he brakes early and the tires are screaming lol

I didn't pay this any mind because there are so many factors such as brake balance, pressure, and temperature along with what the tires are doing. I think with a dedicated setup, you wouldn't see the car locking up so easily.

Here's one tidbit. Has anyone tried a race weekend where, if you do a standing start, the cars starting on the racing line, have more grip at launch? It's a detail always talked about during V8 Supercar races.

The driver brakes incorrectly. He's like 100% strength on brake pedal, blocks wheels, suddenly 10-20% pressure, the car gets wild, then again 100% strength, the car goes crazy !
He should be something like 70% (a random number), then slightly release the brakes, 60%, 50%, back to 60% if still too fast...
I'm not surprised to see him miss corners

edit :
And TexasTyme214 is right

With cars without ABS, I lower brake pressure to 90%ish and then brake in a straight line, then slowly release the brake and slightly turning. That car and that brake set up plus driver skill, makes the car look a mess.

This car is still on placeholder physics anyway... :P

The Nissan here does a 0-60 in just over 5 seconds, only a shade slower than performance in the dry.
Snow tyres. We have two ice racing professionals on the books advising in this area and with the right tyres the acceleration is almost the same. Things like 4WD also make a huge difference. You lose much more in the turns though.

One oval, two rallycross. Then Vaughn on drift, Nicholas Hamilton (all cars but FWD touring specialist), Tommy Milner on GT, Ben Collins on everything.

Are those the only professionals involved or others you can't name? Not a complaint saying it's not a lot, just curious is all.

I saw a video of a LaFararri on the Nordschleife, iam a chase cam player and again that stupid whopling suspension crap on road cars i hate it and it looks just crap........ a shame for a nice looking game so far....

Hi, is there any video from the Xbox one version of the game? I hope this version runs smooth too :) without any big issues and major FPS breakdowns.
Thank you

We allow full control over damper/suspension settings. At their softest you'll get that as you should in any good sim. It's not the default but it's an option.

Tiametmarduk gameplay video, be warned the comments are complete trash from both sides of the argument, but the video is alright.

"It [Mclaren 650S GT3] feels a lot easier than the Formula A."

Woow. Really? I didn't know that. I thought Formula 1 cars were designed for Amateurs. Not the GT3.

"This feels how the first game should."
Haha. Really? Didn't expect people to prefer the more recent and improved handling model.

I don't mind him but he should probably just stick to his simcade F1 Videos.. there's a reason i didn't post this video myself.

Tried to do a bit of research on this & was very difficult to find anything that relevant to the discussion.

In this article they did tests with the lancer & wrx sti on winter tires but they are not studded. Also surface looks more similar to the ice tracks in pcars 2 than snowfall. So when i get the game i will try & compare results.
Somebody on another forum claims the fastest wrc 0-60 in snow is 7.5 sec in sweden but i'm unable to check this as you have to pay to use wrc+ website. Of course start line would be churned up.
