My own bias & what is that exactly enlighten me?
You looked at some footage and incorrectly said that an inconsistency in the footage was the same bug as in the first game (which it isn't), you then decided that meant the game had been rushed and it was Bandai Namco's fault. None of that was remotely true based on the objective information available and therefore can only have come from your own internal bias.

Wow. Never seen somebody losing the car on the puddle in the way he did.

Loving the Super Trofeo Liveries. They look really well done.
That's what I typed. Guess I'll have to wait for the game to see the liveries...

I'm impressed by the way the puddle rotates the car in the porsche video at about 2.12 mark. We have heard a lot about live track 3.0 but to have visual confirmation that it really does have a physical effect is brilliant. I just hope we can see the puddles far enough up the road on console ( i.e. drawing horizon or whatever the technical term for it is)

Nope wrong, you have assumed this due to your own bias. :)
In regards to it being rushed out, I didn't make that assumption from only the video, it was mostly based from other sources. And if you read my sentence correctly 'it seems that it is being rushed out probably due to pressure from Bandi Namco' is an observation & opinion not a statement as you put it.
If I have such a negative bias against sms i wouldn't have pre-ordered the game or spent so much time asking people to give sms a chance who had wrote the first game off or worse think sms are evil. That said i'm not here to be an sms cheerleader either & if something looks wrong i will question it.

I've made this comment before but it bears repeating. It's nice to see someone really giving her the beans:dopey::drool: Not that there's anything wrong with them but a lot of the videos I see are guys being rather sedate and controlled. Cars look great in all games at 98%. In this video beetesjuice is giving the Lotus 98T a real workout at Monaco. This is where every sim shines...or fails.

The cars in front (SLS at 2:12 and AM at 4:42) glide through the puddle as it wasn't even there though. He decelerates on the second lap but the cars in front don't. In the real world, you could more or less rely on the driver who's in front to choose the best trajectory but they keep the same as if the track was dry. We're the only ones who have to avoid/decelerate in the puddles, it seems. At least taking it from this video.

And it looks absolutely beautiful. Out of Casino Square the car was sideways avoiding the bump before trying to get left for Mirabeau.

Yeah I've noticed AI so far seems to be very slightly affected by puddles and off-road excursions. Hope it's still WIP and will change later.

Far better than Tiametmarduk's video. Showcases the AI and ability to race them well.

Around minute 7-8 nice 1:1 battle with the AI. 👍
Funny comment of Aarav: the engineer is too overexcited for him and then he starts talking let's say 500 words per second . Great high energy guy. Fun to watch

Not quick enough haha. Wrote most of this in the description but just wanted to say it over here. This was only the fight for a top 10 spot - 6th-10th I think. Felt like I climbed a mountain after this - 20 lapper around Bathurst and the entire race was like this until the remaining 2-3 laps when the 5 of us spread out a bit. The save in the run up to skyline was intense - heart skipped a beat. Just goes to show how rewarding this stuff can be. No podium, no league championship, just a measly QR weekend. Took 30 seconds to setup in game and just sent it. The AI is still WIP but its really shaping up nicely. They show many traits human players give - mistakes, hustle, nervousness, etc. Game changer in my eyes.

Wrote that before I saw question. Skill was on 115 and aggression was 65

Well, from this video, looks like we have 36 liveries for the Cayman GT4. If most race cars average that, will do well for online teams- single class & multi class alike. Looks good for us offline players too. Max grids of 32, hopefully we won't see doubling up of liveries.

There's a system implemented that tries to avoid identical liveries (this was already present in PCARS 1).
Wouldn't work for some cars, like the Falcon(had about 22 liveries). So, for one makes, it's harder. That's why I'm hoping we get an average of 32 per car. I understand some manufacturers, for whatever reasons, might not want fantasy liveries(the GTO Audi as an example). Some classes, like GT3, will be just fine with the amount of cars in its class.

Love seeing those CJ Wilson liveries on the Caymen! Finally get to drive #DarthCaymen
