Anyone knows when sony lets you preload a digital a game? I'm asking cause its the first time i pre ordered a digital game so i have no experience with this and i wanna make sure i can play it the second it unlocks.

Not all preorder games have preload. I get them mixed up, but at least on PS4 in the NA, pCars1 had no digital preorder, pCars2 did, but no preload. With the 3-day early access for Deluxe buyers, worst case scenario would be 3 days before release when that goes live for them.

A lot of companies are holding off on the pre-order downloads until a few days prior to launch to delay hacking.

Price $326,550 ouch. Obviously, you haven't seen some of the pricing in Forza/GT games.

I can speak for forza since forza 3 was the last game i played in that series back in 08 but in gts i grinded 3 p1 gtr :D

But like @MagpieRacer said it depends on how hard it is to get credits in pcars 3.

Cause as i remember in gts you could get around 275k for a 15 lap clean oval race and that was the one i grinded at least 50 times.

One of the cars in Forza 3 or 4 at that rate, iirc. It would take five twelve hour days to get.

Expected pre-download will be on the 23rd...

I'm soo confused by the marketing approach of this game, so the game comes out in a week and we have to rely on youtube early access videos, Chris hayes videos that are no longer available had youtuber logos in it, like why hasn't there been something to say like "Rep your favourite Youtubers" and have images of like a team R4M or GamerMuscle etc., just feel like the marketing opportunities have been severely missed out on despite the dodging of hate on pitstop comments.

Really keen to see what Scaff, others here and some youtubers have to say when they get their hands on it and have a decent amount of time on it

Yeah, this part is scaring.
Ten days away from release and basically no videos (besides the ones posted by The Dart on youtube), no console footage shown yet.

This will be the game of having faith.

I don't think there's any mystery to what this game will be like.

It's a stripped down/refined PC 2 with less depth and more focus on action packed racing. I'm sure it will run just as good on console, if not better as PC 2.

Improved console performance, specially on the top hardware (Xbox One X, PS4 Pro) could be a major sales point. It was 1440p/60 fps (but not locked) on the PS4 Pro and 1440-1660p (!)/60 fps (again, not locked) on the Xbox One X.

Magic tyres etc will mean they can chuck a fair bit of the physics model away which should improve performance I'd say.

I wouldn't focus too much on the YouTubers as most lack real world experience. Project CARS 2 was the best overall experience in 2017. I have yet to play ACC and AMS2. But, they are in my Steam library.

But, this guy gets it.

PC2 didn't have a demo initially... after I tried it I went to purchase PC2 sometime later... In any case, it is the goodwill accrued from my experience in PC2 that makes me (cautiously) interested in PC3.
