Could you explain this a little more to me REAL cars? as in? Cause i'm a little lost in what you mean. Cause in what sense are the p1,lafearrari, p1 gtr not real cars.

Sorry Chikane. I meant the real life equivalents. I am 10 seconds faster than the real cars when I run the same car in PCars 2. Ok I exaggerated. My GTR time is 0:49.455. At Nordschleife the real P1 GTR runs 6:43 while both Assetto Corsa and PCars 2 records are at 5:59.

Grid's classes made sense because they were based on something. GT4 cars raced GT4 cars in single class races. GTEs raced GTEs etc etc. They don't here which makes no sense to me.
Yep, the Forza-esque hodge podge of years, series, etc. drives me crazy. But to each their own, I know some people love hypotheticals in games.

Remember when an F1 car raced and LMP1 on a tight cobblestone street course in real life?
yeah, me either. But nonsense to some equals fun for others.

Jimmy Broadbent is distinctly unimpressed. He's compared the graphics to a mobile game even though he's maxed it, the AI in career mode is very slow. And he appears to have confirmed many peoples suspicions and worst fears in that the driving physics have been dumbed down contrary to what's been said and promised. Sounds have been nerfed as well.

In fair to Project Cars 3, he immediately approached it with a negativity mindset and that will always lead you to be negative.

He has also said that it is almost definitely a Shift follow up so for the people looking for that it should be good, but the AI still look dumb and the graphics on his run aren't impressive.

The graphics look about the same to me as pCARS 2, so I wouldn’t not agree on that. AI does look very slow from what I’ve seen, which is a bummer.

He also compared it to his own video on PCARS2 in VR and drove a similar combination and it looked so much worse. PCARS1 looked better than that/

Well I didn't like the video quality in Jimmy's review either, let's hope something was wrong. The graphics gripes thread in Grid 2019 Codemasters Forums are large so it would frustrate them if PCars 3 were worse.

Difficult to tell on stream but as habeas been playing AMS2 a lot recently and compared it on stream TO PC2 in VR I'd be trusting his physical judgement rather than what I'm seeing on stream. Espdcially as AMS2 isnm using the Madness engine.

The graphics look more polished to me than Pcars2...but youd expect that years later and codies on board.

Codemasters have had nothing to do with the development of the game as has been stated thousands of times.

Its difficult to tell on stream but I don't see why Jimmy wouldn't be honest about it, especially as he's been playing AMS2 recently which uses the same engine and looks better.

Jimmy Broadbent's audience does consist of hardcore sim racing fans and I wouldn't be surprised if part of his negativity is part of an act to cater to their interests.

I am aware Jimmy is entitled to an opinion, but that much slander from an influencer does raise some questions from my perspective.

I canceled it, what i now see looks just crap.... (Graphical) i dont want to play a game that looks worse then my 3 year old Forza Motorsport 7.....
i will wait on the new Forza then........ i play on PC with controller.

Most of these streams have been useless to me so far, did they give codes to anybody with 10 followers?

There is an embargo and whoever is serious with reviewing, he will respect review notes.

Expect lots of opinions soon, but not before embargo ends.

To be fair, Jimmy did say on more than one occasion that the driving was "fun", which SMS have touted since the beginning.

But I agree with him on his opinions of "looks mobile, missed opportunity and cash grab." This is a game I don't need to play to get what it is.

Or the game is a let down compared to PCars 2? From what I see so far it fits in my opinion.

Excaly that ^ Even content feels small compared to PCars 2. It's just... dumbed down version of PCars 2? And even funnier even GRID 2019 feels more realistic than this.

Well I only watched a few minutes of his video and I quit, I was thinking this is going to suck. It's going to be difficult for this kind of negativity so close to the release date to recover from. From the Max Difficulty video showing the AI is dead in it's current state for the serious sim racers to Jimmy's graphics comments hopefully SMS has a team meeting and gets to work before the early access guys blow it up.

Jimmer loves Codeis F1 and built his audience streaming Gran Turismo. They are not all hardcore simmers by any means.

He also liked GRID 2019 very much. To be honest he made my mind to get this game day one.

Less than a week from launch is a little to late isn't it? I think they will try to patch it for some time and then left it to get back to another this time Codies project. This game feels like last rushed Bandai Namco published game so they can leave past behind. I won't be even surprise that this is the last PCars game and SMS will continue to work on different brand.

Interestingly he also wasn't that keen on PC1 or 2 as they weren't hardcore enough.

His audience is most certainly not just hardcore sim racers and his view is not slander at all!

He could have used a phrase other than "looks like a mobile game" if he wanted to say he wasn't impressed with the graphics. Not to mention the fact he described the game as a cash grab.

No on what i see now on YOUTUBE maybe after some serioius reviews i will check it again but for now iam just scared after what i see today and thats a shame because i like the car list very much! 959 Racecar pure porn......

None of which is slander, it’s an opinion, is he not allowed to hold his own view?

So you're all gonna base your judgment on one streamer?
Seen TheKie's stream?
No, but we are also not going to ignore it either!

Ill definitely wait for more people's opinion. Negativity is much easier to spread and advertise than positivity. He may be a respected opinion, but just because one guy doesn't like it doesn't mean anything. One guy loving it doesn't either.

When I see lines like 'it looks like a mobile game' I just roll my eyes. It doesn't - and almost no modern games do, save for some indie games. They are opinions for sure, but childish ones

Not at all. I await Scaffs video with enthusiasm. Likewise I will watch others. However JB is someone I’ve followed and watched for years and years and trust his opinion and for me, often aligns with my view. TheKie however, I haven’t heard of, that’s not to say He wouldn’t be good or honest in his opinion but I probably wouldn’t watch it,

Less cars, less tracks, less features than PCars 2... It feels like cash grab too me.

I just like him and regularly felt that I have similar taste in racing games so yeah. His point of view is very important for me, and also he is first of streamers I like who played it. Still waiting for the others.
