This afternoon 1pm; Jimmy Broadbent YouTube channel is doing what I hope is a deep dive into Project Cars 3.

I am in no way affiliated with his channel; just passing on what may be an in-depth look at the game.

I primarily want to see how the game runs on all different consoles.
We are one week away from release and there is no clue on what it will look like on consoles.

I also said I didn't think of paint or any other programs like that, I was just thinking of converting an image you find online to svg. My bad. I'm not sure what you mean by just changing the color of someone else's liveries? What are you talking about? PC3 being limited or are you accusing me of changing colors of other's designs on GT and claiming them?
No... What I'm saying is you are contradicting yourself when it comes to GT Sport, furthermore you state you don't have an Xbox yet Forza gets it right? How do you know? Have you seen the pain people have to go to get a logo done it Forza, pretty nice GT Sport allows SVG upload to avoid that tedious endeavour...

I'm saying in PC3 you are taking someone's design and just changing the colour, not GT, yes it's a simpler and quicker way of doing liveries, great not everyone wants to dedicate the time like I do to liveries, but they're not unique

I didn't say I didn't have an Xbox, just that I'm not an Xbox guy. I'm one of those people who literally spent hundreds, probably thousands of hours designing liveries in FM4. I HAD a 360. I was doing seasonal work at the time and most of my winter was spent painting on there. I'm pretty proud of some of the ones I did too. I'm hamstrung in GT, since I can't do groups and I don't find it very intuitive. That's my biggest complaint - I can't use it the way I want to and create unique creations. I have to rely on SVG files.

As for Pcars, I'm ok with it. It's not full featured, but it's better than not having one.

I can't wait for these live streams!

Correct!

Sandbox is still very much a thing. So, you can take any car you want and drive it on any track via the Custom Event menu.

When are you going to show footage from all different consoles?
Can you say how it will run on the base and premium consoles?

Me? I'm not showing anything
I'm just the person who manages social media and the community for the game. :sly:

As for running on consoles; I can't say for sure right now. But one can assume it will run similarly, if not better, than Project CARS 2.

Is it just a single car test drive or can you set up a race with other cars with the sandbox?

I just like Project CARS 2.
Any car, on any car, on any weather condition, up against multiple AI opponents.

PS4 Pro footage
Things I notice:
  • Sounds like an irregular start to me; remember when some were complaining about "3, 2, 1, Go!"...?
  • Water temperature is still accounted for -- apparently this was a dead cold start on the grid. :) I wonder if you can still overheat or blow the engine?
  • Headlight lighting upon other cars has changed.
  • The slide at 8:10 resembles stability control to me; something to bear in mind with how the handling looks. With the HUD tach turned off there's no other indication either way.
  • The replay looks pretty poor, honestly. Hiccups and motion-blurred to hell. I hope PCARS3 is as comprehensive with visual options as PCARS2, but I fear not based on everything else.

Unfortunately that to me reads as not being able to select which exact cars your opponents are driving. So only being able to select a class or identical and with the way the classes appear to be organized I'm not sure that will create great racing
