This isn't GT...
I said "if it had a roster like the ones in gt" not "if the whole game was like gt", are you trying to be cocky or what??

And if there is gt3 cars here, the viper gt3-r and the gts-r need to be added.

Good call on the Viper. I wouldn't mind Viper being Added

The only person being cocky is you, we are all aware of what you said & the only thing with a roster like GT is GT. Unfortunately people are fed up of what GT has to offer and are now looking into Project Cars which I may add has more GT3 cars than any other stock game.

It also has a wider selection of gt cars in general how may games have ginetta juniors or a wide range of gt4.
While the game lacks the American stuff I would take more European cars one American cars as they mainly are found in the Tusc series.
I think all this game needs is a 458 gt car and it would be complete

Yes, but it also needs the C7 GT3 and the Viper GT3... just saying

A ferrari would add more as its in pretty much every single gt class. while american car are nice they may be harder to convince that they should have there car and specifically their race cars in the game. trying to get race cars are harder than road cars as its not a consumer product.

I completely disagree ... if you look closely you realize that Corvettes (and some Vipers) run in some of the most important GTs championships like GT Open, TUSCC, Adac GT Masters and many more endurace races.
I'm not saying that the 458 is not important, but the Corvettes are equally important in any racing game

Full car list (Build 829)

At 4:20, Did SMS sneak in a Project CARS parody of Bill Elliott's Coors car from the 80s?

Wow that car list really puts into perspective how much we got screwed with GT5/6.

If that's also the car list for the PS4, I'm sold even more so.

cool vid man :)

any chance we can have an up to date video showcasing the liveries of each car? i no there is an old one kicking around somewere, but a new one would be awesome

I know it would be a long video, but would be dam well worth it
I would also like to see a video showcading all the liveries of each car

I believe this is the "old" one being referred to. IIRC it's also available on Gamersyde in full 1080P/60fps for download and it's stunning:eek::eek::eek: as are all of Jonz's videos.

^ Technically, yes - you paint a template (UV map) and save the result as a DDS texture file. Artistically it depends on the complexity of the car and the livery. Just a base coat in your preferred colour with some logos and stuff is easy. To go real fancy you can also add specular and Fresnel maps fro gloss/matte/chrome and such effects. Here's an example template.

Edit: Ninja'd by a master livery artist!

I was thinking of picking up a painting that has come in the game and then just add some logos, the car is Marrek LMP1 ... Do you think that is possible?

I just made a video with a preview of all the cars and liveries available as of Build 803. You can check it out below.

this is the video of the liveries i was referring to.

if anyone can make an up to date version that would be awesome 👍

There's indeed a lot of teasing like this going on at WMD, and we continue to get surprises... :) There'll be no Ferrari on release though, as others have confirmed, but who knows what might happen down the road if the game sells well, Namco Bandai opens their purse, Ferrari realize they have to be in the game (:P) etc..

Nothing would make me happier than seeing Italian race cars in the game - if we eventually get Alfa Romeo and Ferrari (see my avatar!) I'll be in heaven. But, even without marques like these, it still looks like we'll get the most complete, well rounded and fun racing sim/game to date, with a mouth watering car list in any case. Like Snaeper, I choose to not expect anything more.
Would be amazing if we could have a fraction of the Alfa Romeo museum's inventory in the game, I'll have the Alfetta 159, the P3, the T33/12 and a 155V6Ti DTM.

I can only see three confirmed GT4 cars:

BMW M3 E92 GT4
Ginetta G55 GT4
Aston Martin Vantage GT4
(Plus the Nissan 370 that might be in)

Are there any other cars on the list that are similar performance and would race well with them? The GT3 list is impressive and it would be good to have another varied field.
