Aww, I was also looking forward to the 328, but my reaction is still about the same as Myles Prower. :) As happy as I am that the E21 is also in the game, it'll be nice to have a tossable little '70s BMW sedan sans a big aero kit or supersized turbocharger.

A very impressive car list, I can't wait for the full game to come out.
But I hope they add more road cars, there aren't many.

Why do we need road cars in a racing game? That's what Forza etc are for....
PCars is about the racing and street cars are fun to race too IMO. I think it dramatically improves the appeal and marketability to include street cars in the game and takes it out of the "niche" category and into the mainstream in many ways.

Thank you!
If PCars didn't want road cars in a racing games they wouldn't have added the ones that are already in the list.
And so what it's a racer? people like to find out how cars they see on the road actually perform. and I'm not talking about Kia's, I'm talking about Ferraris, Lambos, GTR's etc...
Plus they're including real life roads (California highway, Azure Highway and more), and it would feel weird to drive on them with LMP/F1 cars.

I want more late-70's Group 5! The Zakspeed Capri and BMW 320 Turbo are the 2 most entertaining cars in the game, and actually drive quite differently. I always loved the rFactor DRM mod as well :)

It's really hard to go back to driving slow, dumbed-down street cars or even modern race cars (which are all about aero downforce and all feel the same to me) after you've ridden a fire-breathing dragon like the Zakspeed!

How is the car list going regarding new manufacturers? Any chances of new ones being announced up until release, since it's been delayed?

I believe the word is to add polish rather than adding new content at this point, but man I would love to see the Corvette C7.R added or an equivalent Camaro to go against the Mustang.

It would be nice if they took advantage of the time to also add content like the classic tracks instead of purposely making them for later add ons. However, I'm not a WMD member or game maker so just polishing is probably the better and smarter way to go.

As much as I want to see the classic tracks, there's more than enough content to keep me busy at the moment and I'd rather they go the way of integrity instead of marketing, and work on the game to get it firing on all cylinders. I'd rather the post release updates be mostly content with a little tweaking here and there as opposed to major tweaking like a lot of games and very little content.

I just read about Project CARS in the Swedish magazine "Gamereactor" (Number 114). Ben Collins said to the reporter that it's a shame the Ferrari 458 Italia sucks in the game at the moment. The last touch to it's physics hasn't started yet, but it will be fixed.

Just so it's clear: that is something which nobody @ WMD has the foggiest idea about. Really. If we're discussing it further, I guess the Project CARS GTP Wishlist -thread is more appropriate.

"My favorite car is the Ferrari 458 Italia, for sure," he answers immediately. "Of all the cars I've ever driven, it is my absolute favourite. The balance of the chassis and the feel of the steering is unbeatable. Too bad it sucks in the game right now. Ferrari are difficult to work with, it costs a lot of money to license their cars, and we have not yet begun to look at the Project 458 Cars, but we will."

Is it possibly not time to remove the Nissan entries from the list? Wouldn't they have confirmed them by now if they had the license? There presence here gets my hopes up every time I check the list... :(

this is the video of the liveries i was referring to.

if anyone can make an up to date version that would be awesome 👍

I've been keeping an eye on the car updates, and not much has really changed since that video. No cars have been added, and I don't think many liveries have been added... though I'll take another look.

I have made another video though, with all the car showcases that have been added to the game. The showcases show various angles of the car while an announcer dictates the history and features of the car. You can check it out here:

I like that thanks for the effort. Can't wait for this on PS4. Although I think the description of the A45 AMG might have been written by AMG themselves.

US pronunciation of Coupé never fails to make me laugh as well.
