World of Speed is the free to play game being developed by SMS, not sure what their intent is on graphical quality I haven't followed the development but you can find lots of videos here and they look pretty good to me, especially considering the price. I'm guessing it's more along the lines of a Forza Horizon or Need for Speed type of game rather than a full on sim like PCars. As soon as I see the word "free" I know it'll be the most expensive game ever so I stay away unless I hear different

I might be out on thin ice here, but isn't "McLaren 12C" actually named McLaren MP4-12C? I think it would be a shame if the car had the "wrong" name in the finished game.

The McLaren MP4-12C was renamed to just 12C a while ago, around the time the P1 was being announced I think.

any chance of a Megane R26.R making it to the game? .. i'm always a bit befuddled how the once fastest FWD car round the nurburgring has never made it to any game??

Your infos are a bit outdated. The Seat Leon Cupra took the record time off Renaults hands before they came back with the current Megane RS275 Trophy R. The current Megane is in the game, its the "normal" RS though, since the 275 wasnt even announced when SMS brought it to the game.

Yeah.. Just I'd like to get to drive "my" car in digital form lol .. Gran turismo had a 5 door 225... But it's just not the same lol

@VMac -- Slightly Mad Studios have talked about long term DLC support for the game if they get the revenue to make it happen, so it's certainly possible with DLC, but for launch I wouldn't count on many more cars than those that have already been revealed. Maybe the Nissans in the OP, which remain unconfirmed.

This game really isn't for those wanting road cars, although really I'm not sure why it's such a huge let down not having loads of said vehicles. I actually mostly prefer road cars to race cars, and yet the list is one of the biggest reasons I want this game so badly. The selection is top class.

Yeah, but the car list is kinda disappointing if you're more into road cars. Race cars are okay, but there is no sense of ownership and doesn't leave room for customization and performance tuning.
The game looks pretty, but I feel it's more a online competitive game. I'm with Turismo Guy. Hope they make a sequel more alike to the other two games. Hopefully with a more balanced car choice, weighing more towards road cars.
