I have raced last year's build, and are really excited about this game, really loving the sounds they have put into the game!!, i will be racing on the xbox one with TX steering wheel with surround sound and cannot wait to get back behind the wheel of the Aston Martin GT4 again.......sounds like it should have the spitfire engine in.....it's that awesome.
Made the mistake of booking time off.......hopefully this is the final time and April 2nd i can enjoy the sound of proper racing cars on beautiful rendered tracks, fingers crossed. Btw good work on the car list.

How will LE and DLC cars be handled in career mode? Same question could be asked for tracks as well.

If I have the '67 Ford, for instance, will there be Career Events for it? Or will it, more or less, be a Time Trial and Online only car?

Could think of additional events in career mode that get added with a DLC. Unfortunatly we dont receive any informations about DLC from SMS :) But the snippets we can catch are pretty awesome already

This sounds very much like what Gran Turismo would do with it.

I can't see why Project CARS wouldn't allow the McLaren F1 for example to compete in road car races...

Since "Road Car" is technically no racing class with specific regulations, the only fair and balanced race would be a one make race or time trial.

Kind of alarmed at the lack of GM/ Chevrolet and Ferrari, but quite a good list,

About 7% of GT's budget, but yet much better graphics, physics, and weather.
It doesn't quite work like that, as a lot of PD's budget was spent on licensing and advertising. Actual development costs of the two games are much closer together.
And comparing graphics and physics is a bit unfair. SMS has a lot more hardware power to play with.
SMS still doing an impressive job, mind.

It does, because SMS' Budget is also including licensing and a good chunk of marketing (which is now provided by Bandai Namco of course).

I'm aware that SMS also has to pay for licensing, but it's obvious that PD splashed a tonne more cash on that when you look at GT6's car list.
I mean isn't that the main reason why SMS didn't implement a lot of cars the community is asking for (BTCC, DTM, Ferrari, etc.), yet? No funds for the expensive licensing?
As for advertising, I felt GT6 got more media exposure than PCARS prior to release, but fair enough, I might be wrong.
Look, I know SMS are working with a fraction of the money PD have at their disposal and they're doing a great job. I just don't think the difference in the budget purely for developing is 93%.

Jesus, I just realized I come off as a pedantic :censored:hole.
Who cares, whether their budget is 7, 10 or 21% of PD's, really?
What matters is that PCARS becomes a hit, so SMS can narrow the gap further, once development for PCARS 2 starts.

I'm so impressed with what's coming for a roughly $3M dollar development build. But seriously, I'll happily donate $200 to the cause for a Gen II or Gen V Viper GTSR to be added in the next year or so. Or a Jaguar XJ-13, as I just need that in my gaming life. PCars is all I'll be playing for a long time.

Hi guys!
Does anybody knows if it will be a kind of option that alows you to create your own skins? Like the Nascar the game...
Thanks
