Might be a silly question, but the Bentley licence was announced a good while ago, yet we haven't seen a Bentley model in any trailers/screenshots. Anyone know why?

We have seen both Bentleys as WIP at WMD. They are progressing well, but they are not ready for release, so they will be DLC.

I hope you dont really think they can start to work on every car as soon as they reveal the license. There is only so much manpower you have on any team, lots of other cars need to be modeled, sound recorded, physics made etc.

Ginetta G40 Juniors now have coffee tables attached to the boot, they need to be updated

You could make that spoiler model in a day
Also is Lewis Brown an investor in the game? His car has the Viper red with white strips livery which is one of the options in PCARS

You're wrong. And no, it is not a great idea at this time and no, you're not the first to bring this up. I know you will reply again, but i won't. It's a pointless discussion.

I was going to say this, but I wasn't sure if it was allowed. The cars are indeed gorgeous.

Unfortunately I did, I suppose I have been educated..... Shame they are going to be DLC though.

Wow, I was really amped about this game until I saw this list. :( I wish they had more road cars like Forza and GT. That is unfortunate. Was looking forward to buying this.

Well this is a racing game. Forza and GT are driving games to give you the experience of driving lots of different (road) cars. Just because there are less cars doesn't mean it is a bad game ;) There are more (road) cars coming after the release so maybe you could just wait until the list "fits" better for you. There are still more cars on the list than I ever drove in Gt6 (and I drove a lot in GT6)

Yea I see what you are saying. I am into simulations (NOT NFS type of games) however, in GT and Forza I always preferred tweaking the road cars (setups and suspension primarily) because I am most familiar with them having driven some of them or ridden in them. Also I wasn't trying to infer that this is a bad game, just that I am a bit disappointing in the list. Like you I don't necessarily need 500 cars, but at least a few road cars from the more popular makes. Hopefully you are correct and they add many more cars. Thanks.

I'm personally more excited because there's more race cars than road cars. means they'll handle nicely out the box I reckon. then add a sprinkling of tuning to get a really nice set-up.

not fussed all that much about road cars anymore. I believe it was a wise decision by SMS to focus on actual race cars in their racing game.

Yup, I can't wait to drive ever ****ing Gt3 car on every ****ing track because it is so much fun. In general, there is no car I don't like on the list, they are all different to drive and all have some tracks where they fit perfectly. Can't wait to submit my final paper in june and jump into my racing seat :D

I guess I am a little odd or in the minority. I enjoyed taking a car that didn't necessarily have great handling and watch the improvements I made to it. Gave me a sense of accomplishment. Also I think a lot of the customer base for this game are coming from games like GT and Forza which are not quite full driving simulations but a good middle ground between totally arcady racing games and full simulations. This brings a wide audience and I think by going the racing cars focused route might disenfranchise a lot of that base. That is just my opinion and yet to be seen but I have always had a perception of this game as though it is a direct competitor to the GTAs and Forzas of the world. Again just my take.

yeah makes total sense. my friend has alwas been big on Forza and enjoys making low-tier cars out perform high-end sports cars. quite amusing beating Ferraris with a Ford Escort lol.

these days i don't have the time for all that so I'm hoping even without any tuning the cars in this game will mostly all handle nicely

I'm in the same boat. I only have an hour or two to play these days. pCARS does handle nicely out of the box on most cars, so you're covered there. I do understand Zypherus' opinion though, if you've got time for that kind of thing it's fun!

My favorite cars these days are Group 5. Never really knew much about them before, but just last few weeks I've had lots of fun throwing BMW and Ford Zakspeed around Oulton Park.

Yea to each his own. I get the idea that you just wanna jump and and not tweak. Makes sense to me. I think I just enjoy racing the slower cars (like the stock corvette vs a Nissan GTR, and other stock fast cars) apposed to the super fast racing cars. Just my preference I guess. At least with GT and Forza you could drive both and had options on both sides. I guess I feel like it is extremely limiting with Project cars with this current list. Glad you guys find it enjoyable with the current list though.

the AI is another big factor in why I really like the look of pCARS. wheel to wheel racing where you may only overtake a couple of cars per lap if you're lucky is like nothing I've experienced before in a Forza game. the tuning comes second for me.

Agree completely. I miss that feeling of closely following another car for 10 or more laps trying to find a gap or if no opportunity presented itself then try and work out a pass during pitstops...
Yes, I really miss Geoff Crammond's Grand Prix series (can't believe it's been 22 years since my father first installed Microprose Grand Prix on his 386 for me :()

I'm sure it will.

As someone with the same preference, I wouldn't necessarily look only to the roadcars in Project CARS. :) As I've pointed out before, there's more than just the handful of street-legal machines to suit players who don't necessarily like driving super-fast high-downforce racecars.
