They best not gimp the performance like they did the Aston Martin GTE. I ain't suffering a C7.R 2 seconds off the pace.

I don't know if this is a BS excuse or not, but the devs have an explanation for why the Aston GTE is significantly slower than the GT3s. They said that in real life, the series that GTEs race in have faster tires than the ones GT3s race in. So whenever they have events at the same track in real life and you compare lap times, the GTEs are faster than GT3s because the tires are better. In the game they all use the same tires, so the GTEs lose the advantage.

Completely ignoring the fact that the Aston Martin isn't the only GTE class car in the game. Ignoring the fact that the other GTE is significantly quicker. Seriously, the M3 also had a pace issue until its tires were changed back in August or September. If tires are the issue, Casey should change them.

I do remember the M3 being quite a bit slower. But I haven't driven that one in a while. Is it quicker now? What changes did they make to it specifically?

I'd have to go through the patch notes but several months ago the M3 was given the same tires as the rest of the GT3 class. It previously used pre-2012 tires. Give me a moment while I look through the patch notes.

From patch 3.0:
* BMW M3 GT – set to use same tyre widths as the other GT3 cars. This helps equalize performance and acts to level the playing field, as this car would have used such tyre sizes if it ran beyond 2012 against the rest of the GT3 cars.

I am actually currently in the process of fine tuning some personal setups for the GT3 cars, and the M3 is actually next on the list. I'm interested to see what it can do now since I last drove it pre-3.0.

It can do 2:00.xx at Silverstone GP and mid to high 1:22s at Laguna Seca now.

I'm pretty much only focusing on Spa at the moment. But from what I remember from before, I think it was like 2 seconds or so slower than the Aston GT3 when I last tried them, with both on stock settings. I have completed testing the Aston GT3 and the Aston GTE, and the GTE was about 2-2.5 seconds slower around Spa for me.

Hopeing we get both #3 and #4 liveries from Corvette Racing, as well as some fantasy ones for the C7.R. The car looks the best in those simple velocity yellow colors.

While I kind of agree and adore the Corvette Racing liveries, I also love the look of the Larbre Competition Vette. Championed for it hard at the 6 hrs of the Nürburgring, sadly it didnt help much.
