So, how on Earth did we mstake the AMG GT3 for the Ecto-1...?
And delusions...many delusions.Mad blurring skills, that's how.
I completely agree! If the 24H Nurb and Pagani pack is $0.99, I'll gladly purchase.
Happy the Merc is free car.
Free car confirmed as the Mercedes-AMG GT3.
Shame since the in game one is not grunty enough. All my money says it will use the sls sample. It's the same engine after all.
SMS...if you don't at least match Driveclub's take on the AMG GT3...go out of business.
^That car sounds great with headphones on when actually playing it in game.
Well, they also seem to be slowing down on teasing for this DLC, and since we've heard literally nothing about future plans, that kinds of implies that SMS is quietly dropping support. On top of that, they seem to be really weird about their marketing. On Twitter, they've said things like the AMG is this month's free car, but when people ask them when the pack will be released, all they say is "sometime this spring." I really hope this isn't the end (mostly because this is the first pack where I haven't wanted a single piece of the content). But I also want to continue support for a little while since PCars 2 is still probably over a year away.If y'all didn't notice, this thread really hasn't been moving ever since we found out what this dlc is lol. I guess that tells you that nobody is looking forward towards this pack. Most likely just the free car.
Personally I think Driveclub's sounds aren't quite as good as they like to think they are. Of course they've done a pretty good job. Just a bit to much whooshing in the cockpit sounds (unless they've changed the balance a bit). I haven't driven that new Mercedes or anything in Driveclub since Project Cars came out so am not commenting on it until I've tried it.
I'm actually quite looking forward to trying the Paganis now I've got used to the idea. I loved driving the Zondas last time I tried them which was ages ago last year. If I go back to GT5 the Zonda road cars were some of my favourite cars in that game /despite being standard models graphically. Want that impressed with most of the race cars in Gran Turismo.
I've enjoyed every DLC so I'm sure I'll enjoy this next one too, although it's a shame there will only be 3 cars.
Reminder to self, must go and try some other cars. Been spending too long in that Caterham Superlight.
I hope so to but we all know that is wishfull thinking. Prove us wrong SMS, pretty pleaseMaybe the reason this next pack is slim is due to the amount of work they put into custom championships.
Or because they've run out of content to add. I believe all the previous listed dlc cars have reached the game now.Maybe the reason this next pack is slim is due to the amount of work they put into custom championships.
Personally it's just a matter of setup.Has anyone raced the Dallara as of recent? With me, they seems horrendously slow and have horrible understeer, but the guages seem to be correct with the right speed, but when in a solo free run mode, the cars are as fast as they should be. Even the AI is slow in races.
That's exactly what happened to me!! Thought I was going crazy!!Has anyone raced the Dallara as of recent? I've had the slowdown bug with the Renault 3.5 perhaps that's what you are experiencing. I reduced the number of AI and it was fine. Maybe this is what's happening with you?Has anyone raced the Dallara as of recent? Yep, this appears to be whats happening. Shrunk the field down to 22 with me included, and the cars drove infinitly better. Quite a strange bug; I don't think I've seen anything like this before.
Are you on pc, Xbox One or PS4?
Slowdowns can happen when the CPU is struggling to calculate all these physics stuff (more AI = more stuff to calculate). I've heard people having this on Xbox One and on below spec pc.
I think we can safely bet the sound will be underwhelming and I agree this is the most "meh" DLC yet of the bunch.
You're the first person I've ever seen use the word "meh" when referring to the Huayra BC or Zonda Revolucione (or the Nurburgring for that matter).
Your loss, I will be driving the wheels off both cars! Can't wait for this DLC
How will it be his loss? He's not bothered by them. I personally (please its my opinion no point trying to change my mind or call me names or say i'm a loser or whatever, i don't like Nurb, is that OK with you?) find the Nurb the most over rated track in the world, everyone bangs on about it all the time.
Its also like a prostitute as everyone has had ago and they let anyone and any vehicle on it.....and the only good thing about the Nurb is watching all those youtube clips of people crashing their road cars.
Right...
