Anyone else looking forward to the upcoming DLC? The first thing I will do upon purchasing is taking the R-18 E-tron out for a spin on Le Mans!

Ever since I heard the R18 e-tron quattro was coming to PCars I have been excited to get my hands on it. Hopefully it arrives next week. Also, I'm happy it is an early DLC pack as having to wait for it would be horrible.

That's not true at all. Looking at the accolades list, there are going to be new events for the DLC cars:

• Win the Audi Ruapuna Track Challenge
• Win the Ruapuna LMP900 Showdown
• Win the Ruapuna TransAm Challenge

You guys think they'll release a physical copy with all of the dlc content included a year later like the Batman GOTY editions?

I think PCARS2 is going to be PCARS1 GOTY

I think they will add contracts in later updates like they are doing for the Bentley GT3.

I wonder how will thisl work, because the R18 e-tron will simply destroy the other LMP1s, which are from different years and specs.

Actually the 2014 Audi was comparable in lap times to its 2013 variant at least during the first three races of the 2014 WEC season. In fact, it was some tenths of a second slower than the 2013 car around Le Mans. In both years the fastest event times were down in the 3:22.xx range for Audi. So it really shouldn't run away with the show on one lap pace.

Problem is, we have '11 and '14 ingame, not '13 and '14. Fastest lap time in 2011: 3:25,7. Which is almost 4 seconds slower compared to the 2014 version.

Both the RWD and Marek LMP1 cars are designed around 2013 regulations. Only the other Audi is 2011 spec. Another comparison: after a bit of turning and a load of practice I've gotten the RWD P30 down to 3:23.6xx at Le Mans and I'm by no means on an elite level in the game.

The Audi 90 GTO IMSA is going to be a beast that is for sure. I am looking forward to taking on a rainy Spa-Francorchamps or Brno, for example, with that.

The free July car, the Audi A1 quattro, will presumably release the same day as the main DLC.

Hopefully the content arrives next week and not information about it.

Because it's a Audi themed DLC. There is more variety to come later on.

When it's ready There is no "usual" day for dlc's/updates.

Well whatever it is i'm sure it's not the new F1 game......It's terrible apparently, and the Codemasters forum is on fire atm.....I've bought some popcorn due to the entertainment there watching the Codies fanboys defend such a crappy game!!!
