I didn't know there would be a paid DLC for that livery. Agree with you; I'm not buying it. Would be interesting to see sales performance (not $ amount, but number of purchases) of this paid livery pack.

I retract this statement, as I checked and it's there. Yay PAL didn't have to wait 'till last for something! Now I feel bad for you NTSC guys. I know them feels well! Australia used to get bloody everything game related last, for so long.
I noticed this, it's over $5aud for a pack containing 7 liveries! Why would anyone buy that? It will be the first DLC I won't buy. Somehow I don't think I'll miss out on much lol.

Yeah they should offer it as an option (maybe restrict it to practice session though).

I'm assuming there isn't practice only options for online races, which explains why you can't use the open test course, as there's no way you can race on it. I agree with @ukfan758 though that they should offer a practice only option for online so that the test course can be used. I can see it being popular with drag racing fans with that drag strip. You can always go on the official forum and chuck that in the suggestions thread, if it's not already there.
That test course is a lot of fun though I must say. I took the old Aston on it, and had a ton of fun just driving around. Some nice roads there! I've also already taken the Mclaren F1 around the speed loop, and got it up to 380kph.
