it is not possible to drive with multiple players on the test track?

The test track has roads going all over the place, so there isn't one single way to lap it. The unlocked test track is for practice (testing) only. There are a few closed off layouts within the test track that can be used as race circuits with others, though I'm not sure if one of them contains the drag strip, as I haven't really looked at them, I've only been doing testing on the unlocked complex.

I know that the outer ring isn't included as one of the closed off layouts, but after driving on it with a few cars, I can safely say it would produce horrible racing, as any car in the game can be driven flat out on it with no effort at all.

Yeah I've already spoken about that here with someone, and as I said to them, it seems at the moment it isn't included as online you can't do just a free roam or free practice without doing a race, and since the open test track can't be raced on, they'd have to add a free roam mode to allow people to play it online. I'd imagine someone on the official forum has put that in the suggestion thread by now :)

Unfortunately players have been begging for "track day" formats for a while, with little result. Many folks supported a multiplayer mode in which players log into the track, go and do their laps -- pitting to adjust set-up etc. Basically a free non-race format (or simply with the laps set to 200 etc.).

I don't think anyone promised anything like that. It would be extra useful with the test track.

Really loving the 4 new cars, although a shame SMS didn't release the Aston pack at the end of October, that way they could have also included the new DB10 to coincide with the new James Bond film, Spectre! The name's Mansell, Hammymansell!! :D

After been away from this game for some time, and Forza 6 flopping (my personal opinion) im back with Project cars, and im loving it to say the least, all this DLC is tasty, nom nom nom!

quick question, has there ever been any mention of the Nissan GTR GT3 car been included in the future? would love this car to fill the GT3 field.

I've just tried the Mojave Cougar Ridge track. It looks like the drag strip can be driven in that one. Maybe online rooms can use that one for some casual Drag racing with the practice remaining timer used for start. E.g. "Go when the clock hits 30:00 minutes remaining"........

Edit, just checked that. The track can only be raced, no practice, equally or warm up. I suppose drag could be done in race?
However the layout of the drag strip markings on the road mean you have to drive the wrong way on the circuit. I suspect that will cause the cars to ghost. Testing now.....

Edit2: doesn't ghost with penalties off, it starts the 10 sec countdown timer then resets the car so doesn't look like it's possible unless you can run the strip in less that 10 secs!

I'm not worried but it was fun trying.

It sucks that the open layout test track cannot be used online, it would be interesting for some sort of online free roam/track day type of thing.

Project Cars instagram kept teasing the Scottish track for this DLC but it did not make it.
They teased the Scottish track but they never said it would be included in the next DLC pack. Same goes for old Hockenheim, Mazda drift car, Indy cars, and so forth.
My guess is that the Scottish track will be included in the classic track pack to be released in November.

-2 slots between Mitsubishi & Oreca
-2 slots between Sauber & SMS
-4 slots between SMS & W Motors

I'm guessing the October pack will be the Mitsubishi & Toyota Macau pack since they said it will be a pack which has been highly requested by fans and the TS040-Hybrid has been. My guess is maybe one of the Mitsubishis?
The November pack seems quite obvious- historic tracks and maybe the Lotus car pack along with the Aston DP212?

First two slots are Mitsubishi Lancer Evos. Probably one is the Mika Hakkinen edition (spelling?)
Next two are a Scion FRS and a Rocket Bunny Scion FRS.
Among the next four are the Toyota TS040, Toyota GT86 and Toyota GT86 Rocket Bunny. Don't know what the fourth of the last 4 is.

It's the Lancer Evo VI Tommi Mäkinen Edition and the Evo IX FQ 360. I completly agree with your guess. The 4 Scion/Toyota FR-S/86 are so similar that they will probably count as 1 (or 2) price wise.

Edit:

Here is my final guess:

-Mitsubishi Lancer Evo IX FQ 360
-Mitsubishi Lancer Evo VI Tommi Mäkinen Edition
-Scion FR-S
-Scion FR-S Rocket Bunny
-Toyota 86
-Toyota GT86
-Toyota GT86 Rocket Bunny
-Toyota TS040

eight cars is too improbable, the correct setting is (86, GT86, ts040) for Toyota, then the two Mitsubishi. everything is dlc toyota and Mitsu .... Macao.

The rocket bunny are red bull, and free car scion fr-s.

November and December respectively.

Did you even looked at the OnDemand page above? There will be 8 cars in this DLC.

Btw, the info found in the leaked season pass is outdated.

Meh if this is gonna be the next pack then im not looking forward to it. Besides the Toyota TS040 everything else looks meh.... Yea its Japanese cars but not ones i want. Would love to see cars like GT3 GTR and a early 2000s Skyline. Maybe some Hondas. Japanese cars like these.
