My one and only issue thus far with the DLC has been the last pack, I kinda felt a bit robbed being given an Aston Pack with a fake test track, we should been given that fake Scottish hills circuit or the historic circuits, if we got given the Reynard 96 and Lola equivalent with the fantasy track I wouldn't feel so meh towards the region,

^Sounds like Forza DLC. :)

I've said it before, but I'd kill for a North American track pack. While I know pretty well we're not going to get anything like it for PCars 1...perhaps two.

-Virginia International Raceway (VIR)
-Barber Motorsports Park
-Road Atlanta
-Mid-Ohio
-Mosport
-Limerock

All fantastic tracks buried in the woods and hills of beautiful country...all with challenge aplenty. Not large, stale Formula 1 venues. Real driver's tracks and just as fun in a road car as a race car. The more I think about it, the more fantastic or famous tracks the United States has. Sebring, Road America, Laguna Seca, Watkins Glen etc.

Haven't driven at Road Atlanta since "24 Hours of Le Mans (the game)" (about, oh, 7 years ago)...I'd go bonkers for that.

I remember watching a video where a Lotus 49 was driven around the Classic Spa on a VERY old Project Cars PC build. I'll see if I can dig it up...

BTW, I hope the track is implemented in a DLC pack. It would be great to drive on it in the full game.

It was that video, that combination of old Spa and the Lotus 49, that first got me excited about this game:tup:👍

In reference to Alxander's post:

I don't know why there must be a fictional Infield Track portion of the Charlotte track. CMS has been building roads in there for a year now. Here is the latest Google Map image of that, but they're much further along now.

Obviously licensing is an issue and is the reason for the fictional build of the track to begin with, but they could make a very close facsimile of this infield with no problems.

What would be nice would be a Daytona Prototype...like one of the last models. Heck, how about the Riley with the BMW Dinan V8. :P

This game is becoming "V8 simulator". I counted at least 20 cars with V8's, plus the flat 8 of the Ruf RGT-8 (road and racer). I love it.
Man! If only we had Daytona Prototypes! ford Ecoboost DP, or the Chevy Corvette DP.... Heh, we need some more diesel cars! Perhapse the slow Mazda Skyactiv Diesel Lola prototype?

Mazda's finally gotten sense and is going back to a Mazda badged AER twin turbo V6 for next season, but yes. :P

Hello Ladies and Gentlemen. My first Post here:lol:after being a Visitor for Years.

Are we going to get the DLC tomorrow? There was no 5.0 Patch on Xbox One so far. I think they did the same with the Audi Pack. Releasing it later.
Gladbecker82 welcome to :gtplanet:.

I don't think we will see the DLC until the 27 October. Xbox One will be updated by then, it still falls in October and SMS will not have to listen to people complaining about unfair treatment. You can just imagine it!

I am desperate for the Toyota TS040-HYBRID so would be happy to be wrong on this occasion.

Yes I want that Toyota too Macau as a surprise would be amazing. We have to wait and see. And thank you for your welcome Message

It's been stated numerous times that the Mojave test track was put in that pack as a bonus. The devs never intended to put the test track in the game, but after popular demand, SMS decided to work on it to get it up to standard, and include it with the Aston pack. Ian said that with or without the track the pack would have cost the same amount, so it was basically a freebie. :)

Hopefully the historic track pack is the November one. I really can't wait to get out on those awesome tracks!

Same!

That's right. Ian also pointed out the cost to SMS, when releasing new tracks, is greater due to the size of the files. Those people who bought the pack because of the included test track have effectively helped offset that cost.

All hail the Lotus at old Spa track video. It's what got me interested too.
