Project cars DLC

Interestingly, the way the controller feels in Project Cars is better for me than Forza Motorsport 6. I feel like I have more control and can push a lot harder before things go wrong in Project CARS than in FM6. In FM6 I feel like I have to tip toe my way around the cars, even the race cars.
The cars in forza mortorsport feels like it have training wheels. Even with TC off and sim steering. I am not sure how the cars in this game feel like with a controller because I always use a wheel but it don't feel no where near DC.

I don't get it, this DLC thread has 82 pages yet as far as i am concerned there isn't much to talk about, the only good pack was the racing icons one and the launch pack (the m1 procar one). Are they going to release any more popular tracks like Sebring? I have all the next gen racers and this is by far my favourite but i think the DLC has been lacking thus far. Driveclub had awesome DLC cars.

The only one you have liked so far is the Racing Icons pack. Plenty of us enjoyed the Aston Martin and Audi expansions too.

Apparently November is going to have the big track pack we have been waiting for. Classic Spa-Francorchamps and Classic Hockenhiem, which we've seen on Instagram, are due. The beautiful fictional Scottish track Bannochbrae has been teased too although I don't know if that is meant to be part of that pack. Macau is said to be on the way too. No mention of Sebring which is a pity as I have always waned to race there in a game. There are some ovals on the way too although I really hope the infield circuits are included with those.

Check out the full track list in the OP. There are plenty of tracks coming to PCars.

I may sound ungrateful but i would prefer new locations as opposed to alternate routes of existing tracks that are in the game, maybe i'm in the minority. Macau should be great though.

Let me try to convince you, the layouts coming are some of the best versions of numerous tracks. The classic 1967 monza layout with the circuit-oval combined, historic spa with the whole road section, historic Silverstone (1970s?) without the tilkeanized sections, and pre-2002 hockenheimring (the whole forrest section)

Look at Classic Spa-Francorchamps on YouTube. It is completely different to the current circuit. They only have some corner names in common.

Classic Hockenhiem only shares the stadium section.

If you feel like that it makes me think you haven't seen the older layouts.

Whoa wait we're getting THAT Monza?!  YES! :D Looking forward to all those tracks though, Silverstone with more grass would definitely be frightening, but also fun.

After looking more into layouts used in 1967, it could be either the traditional GP layout

Or the awesome layout:

It all depends on the Number 2 in GPL (Grand Prix Legends?)

I have enjoyed majority of the DLC cars but the tracks have been meh. The audi track is ok to race around and i don't like the test track at all. Im ready for the classic track pack, Daytona and Indy and possibly red bulll ring which was rumor to be in the game in the future.

Even though I'm not familiar with that version of Silverstone I cannot wait for it. I completely dislike the current layout. Really nasty IMO.

Well thats 1976 Layout. If you ask me that doesnt look challenging. With a car with high downforce like the R18 E-Tron you might just need to brake 2-3 times

Was Manza even mentioned in the historical tracks ? I dont think so but it would be cool and the question is would we get the oval, which i doubt . but we can dream

FS7
I really like Mugello & Suzuka but afaik it's unlikely we'll see those tracks in PCars due to licensing issues.

Yes Mugello is owned by Ferrari. So it might not be cheap. But Mugello isnt that important to me, I rather have Macau. And i believe that goes for many. Since they said there is a track pack coming next month lets hope it gives the game a Breath of fresh air

I played pre 2002 Hockenheim on f1 97 but i'm not familiar with classic Spa. Sebring, Mugello and Macau would be great. The only classic track i would be interested in is pre 2011 (could be wrong on exact year) silverstone GP, i prefer it to the latest f1 version.

Yes, Silverstone from about 10yrs ago would be perfect. Like you say, before the changes. Had that version in an old F1 game and loved it.

I've read a lot of talk about the oval on the official forum, and it's a highly requested track, especially the combined circuit. As far as it being mentioned at all, the road course was in the beta with the other historic tracks.

Confirmed via Instagram :

Free car will be Scion FRS :)

Sorry for not posting the picture itself. On my phone. Sure someone else can easily do it though :)

If you look at the 'on demand' icon in the game, every month it has the free car shown, once the patch is installed. This month it has the Scion 'Toyota' FRS on it as you confirm. :)

True ! So far I believe that's been the case but wasn't the on demand icon this month a Rocket bunny FRS/86/BRZ ? :) The car we're getting is the stock one
