I read a little about this on CarBuzz and they said there will be a livery editor in a later version of the game. Is this true? CarBuzz doesn't always have 100% accurate articles.
Anyway, this game is already enough for me to say I would gladly play this over GT. Everything looks so beautiful. Another important question is this: How bad are the system requirements? I do not want to miss out on another great game because I don't own a PC that can't handle a game of this magnitude.
EDIT: I should make myself more clear. I saw the requirements in the OP, but I'm not a computer guy. That stuff is a completely different language to me. Explain it to me.
The one that turns out to support the most racing peripherals without artificial lock-ins or obsolescence, and I might add, the one with the most consumer friendly policies in general. And the one that best facilitates development of next gen games (one of the two has a stronger GPU and much higher (GDDR5) RAM bandwidth without a fiddly (ESRAM) crutch)....Whatchu guys think? PS4 or "XBONE" ?
The Online Racing Association (TORA) got televised on Motors TV for 2 of there series, they use the Xbox system with Forza and they are very interested in thisBetter organised race series?
I mean, sure, at the moment it might be true since pCARS multiplayer is nowhere near complete, but how shall you know for final judgement, as of now?
I will be going for the Wii U!
Who's with me!?
Mine is ClassicBrend! I will add you next time I am on, turns out that the Wii U blocks 3rd party Ethernet adapters once they check if it's official or not, so I will be trying to hunt down a official one ASAP.
Project CARS was one of the things to convince me to go with the Wii U. What's your gamertag on the Nintendo Network? I don't have anyone on my friend's list yet. Mine is Wolfe2x7.

Not sure how console choices came into this thread. But considering the graphical leaps and emphases in Project Cars I would think the Nintendo Wii U would be the last console anyone would choose to play Project Cars. Lets not forget that the Wii U is closer to the PS3/Xbox360 in terms of computing power, the Xbone and PS4 are in a completely different league.
With that said, Project Cars is going to look pretty weak graphically on the Wii U compared to the PC/PS4/Xbone. I'd like a Wii U just to play the Zelda (and other Nintendo) games, but not for racing games... no thanks.
I am choosing the Wii U because it's the console I currently have, didn't like the idea of having a One or PS4 that has literally 1 game between them I want to play within the next year, so I opted for the U because it has more quality titles in my opinion at this current time, this is of course based upon the gameplay and not graphical girth. I would actually suggest you rethink what you are saying, because the team have been working on the PS3/360 versions for yonks and have jut recently jumped ship to their respective successors - it's very possible it could be a half-arsed effort because those 2 are still nowhere near the PC in terms of graphics. The Wii U version has been built from the ground up and could actually be a decent game, car porn or not.
SMS have risen in my developer 'power rankings' for going through with the Wii U version after all the fuss the console has caused regarding 3rd party developers, the joke will be on those who jumped ship when Mario Kart 8 and Smash Bros highhandedly give the console a revival.
Yeah, If you had the option, you should always go for the better one! I just meant on the basis of my decision I am getting it for the Wii U. 👍They had been working on PS3/Xbox 360 versions and dropped them, nobody knows what the game looked like on those consoles, or what it ran like. Project Cars is a heavily graphics emphasised game.. more so than any other previously released and the Wii U is old hardware (it was when it was launched) and regardless of how good a job they do Project Cars will never look as good as it does on the PC/PS4/Xbone.
Lets not forget that this is a multiplatform title, it's not like Gran Turismo 6 where it is specifically developed for that console and they use every trick in the book to try to get it running nicely and looking good. Don't get me wrong if you already have a Wii U then that's fine, but I'd never advise someone to go and buy a Wii U to play Project Cars.
Mario Kart 8 is cool if you like that thing but from what I've seen it's a bit of a rip-off of Sonic All Stars Racing : Transformed, and Super Smash Bro's is cool if you're into that thing but personally I never cared about it.. It seems like a series that has only become a big deal 10 years after it was relevant back on the Gamecube. I remember playing it when I was younger and it's a cool fighting game but nothing I would have rushed out to buy, and that was the general sense I saw in my social circles back then too.
Still, I enjoy Nintendo games enough to want to play them and would like a Wii U eventually, but as a sim racer I wouldn't go near Project Cars on the Wii U with a 10 foot pole.
