The two competition designed cars represent the most modern design of LMP cars, with the deliberate avoidance of diesel engines. But Felix was right, I did forget the Alpine cars.
I lost track of last news so can we sum up all GT3/E cars available in 1.0 version please?Coupled with the immense GT3/E field and full weather and 24h time cycle, the Le Mans expecience in pCARS will be unparalleled. Its one of the things I m looking most forward to myself.

BMW Z4 GT3
SLS GT3
Ginetta GT3
Bentley GT3
And?
Cool. Well that's a decent list indeed. There is the McLaren 12C GT3 also.
The diesel avoidance that you mentioned... is it because of the difficulty to equalize performance or because people hate diesels?

People hate diesels, simple as that. Racing cars should sound like cars, not blocked-up vacuum cleaners. The petrol engined cars will be properly equalized to the diesel car(s).
That's probably why they don't like 'em.I like diesel LMP cars. Specially the low rev sound of them, reminds me some small pickup trucks.

With the M1 getting some love in pCARS, I was wondering if any kind and knowledgeable insiders have heard any whispers of an E46 generation M3?
@LogiForce I love the sound of this; the customisation on the AI settings sound fantastic. I wonder how hard 100% difficulty across the board really is? If it's up to the standard where most of us will struggle to beat it this is going to be one hell of an experience...
I ran a race on 'professional' the other night. Was in first from back of the grid in half a lap of Brands Hatch...Exactly. Playing gt6 on hardest setting was meager at best. I would have to stop mid race and wait till I was in last then try to achieve first again
"Professional" is not an actual difficulty. That "difficulty" only changes the amount of opponents. To change the actual difficulty you have to go to the arcade section of the settings menu.I ran a race on 'professional' the other night. ... simply lies!!

Yeah, sorry... the AI temperament was set to 10, still is."Professional" is not an actual difficulty. That "difficulty" only changes the amount of opponents. To change the actual difficulty you have to go to the arcade section of the settings menu.
I was talking about GT6, sorry for any confusion.Check 'Options > Gameplay > Opponents' and see if all those sliders are maxed out. Try again and give a report back.

I trust pCars is FAR superior... đź‘Ť
Ooooh, I was already wondering. The game is default on 'pro' mode but you can still move the sliders to a higher position. Global Difficulty is only at 60. Though I am sure there are tweaks to be made once we go in Alpha at the end of April.
Spotted the Project CARS weekly Build Recaps on the VirtualR site, looking through them you can get a good idea of how things are progressing and what’s coming in the future if you don't have a WMD account. Unfortunately if I were to post them here it would take up all of the page.
