Well they only got about 2 months before they go gold, so i'd say they need hurry up and finalize some things. There just seems to be stuff that is all over the place. Unfinished tracks, cars, features and such.

I wouldn't say that they are late, feature and content-wise (I think) it might be almost done so all that's remaining now is bug testing and polish on everything.

A friend of mine showed me an interesting post from a dev, not going to go into detail incase its private but lets say the peasant console are performing better in some aspects than the PC version
Can you elaborate just a little bit. Also "this is for everyone" anyword or has there been some progress with the AI. Most of the videos the AI looks crazy. I know they're trying to make the AI more realistic instead of looking like they're all just part of a train. I'm really wanting them to pull this off.We cant race online all the time and also I want the career to be fun and challenging.
Update:
Nevermind don't worry about elaborating.I just saw your post

because my edit didnt appear on the post but the answer is still nope
and its not gt as im sick of gt racing they only ever race gt3
however i will tell you now it was formula rookie (formula ford) part of the reason why there used in the demos is their fun and easy to drive but it also can provide good racing for all levels of talent
In response to the career jump i think the car/cars may still be devolping however that is still a template. for instrance their only one gt4 logo but there is actually 3 gt4 championships uk america and asia/middle east
I'm glad to hear that cuz I'm kind of excited about driving those little Fords. They look fun.

They hyped the game so much that the waiting till November is killing me. Unsatisfied with the lack of challenges in Assetto Corsa (no reward system for your driving, no sense to run race after race online/offline, hotlapping bores me without official leaderboards) I downloaded RaceRoom (not played yet) and tried iRacing for the first time.

iRacing is interesting but it seems damn expensive. I just did a few hotlaps and was going to join my first online race. And was not able to. I need to buy a track for $14,95 lol. No thanks.

Me too, lol. I now do drifts in AC and they're immense fun in the Z4. Handling is really top there.

Raceroom gets big update today, i'm looking forward to it. I need something to cruise me over to November.

If you want some sim-goodness why not buy GSCE? VERY inexpensive for what you get and some of the best AI around. This will hold you over and then some!

Raceroom update delayed... hopefully not for long though.

If I only knew what GSCE is  I hope not Grid?
Sorry, I thought everyone new what GSCE stood for - Game Stock Car Extreme. Grid isn't anywhere close to a sim let alone a competitor to GSCE, if you give it time you will see that it stacks up with the best sims available (physics, FFB, and AI excel - very good graphics and sound). I actually wasn't going to give it a chance as I thought it was using old technology but I now know what was I missing. It may take a little tweaking here and there but the end result is the best bang for the buck you will find.
On top of that there is a ton of track and car mods - some VERY good!
I sound like a fanboy, but you have to remember I own most every sim available (old and new) and enjoy them all including pCARS. GSCE is probably the most complete sim. You mileage may vary

Thanks, will definately try out the 60 minute demo. Just downloading. The only thing that worries me is that there are only Brazil tracks I guess. So there will be a lot of learning new tracks (what I somehow don´t like :D ). And the other thing is, if you learned these tracks, there will mostly be no other game where these learned tracks are included. But a lot of open wheelers. I like that very much.

The mostly Brazilian tracks is one thing I didn't like at first but many have grown on me and are actually nice for a change, and there are more world famous tracks as mod addons.
The one think Reiza should do is increase the 60 minute demo - I didn't buy after the first 60 min. try as I
ran into some issues that turned me off. It took a little more time to tweak and appreciate it to its fullest.
Actually, they now offer a free 30-day demo version (GSC LITE) which may be better to get time for a good evaluation.

Sorry, back on topic. I am hoping pCARS comes close to the feel of GSCE, SMS sure has put lot of effort into pCARS but it may just take some time to get everything fine-tuned ever after the initial release.

Nice will give it a try. iRacing is damn expensive, no thanks. I read that you have to pay about 800 bucks to have all tracks and cars lol.

Sorry to carry on the off topic but Game Stock Car Extreme is certainly worth checking out for many people looking forward to PCars (only 2 months away now).

It's relatively little known but really is the best value Sim out there at the moment. It was an absolute steal at $29.90 about £18. Reiza Studios have stated they are keeping the price so low to try and attract a wider userbase. I've only used it in single player so far. As Fuzzy aluded to, yes it's based on the RFactor engine but it is way ahead in terms of physics. Graphically it still looks great and I can get 60fps comfortably on an old PC at medium levels of detail.

Make sure you update the game using the "GSC Sync" exe in the main game folder. That way you get the latest cars/tracks. All cars have their own series or you can create your own custom championship using their tracks and/or the many availble created track mods (see below for those that I've got).

New content added includes their version of F1 cars for this season - exact regs etc but slightly different unlicensed cars.

The 2013 and 2014 Brazilian Stock Car Championship - they're a bit like DTM cars
Opala Stock Cars
Mini
Camaro SS
Formula Reiza (F1 2013?)
Formula 3
Formula Classic (F1 circa 1988)
Formula Retro (F1 circa 1975/6?)
Formula Extreme (F1 2014)
Formula V12 (F1 nineties)
Copersucar-Fittipaldi - official 1976 car
Karts 125cc direct & Shifter
Formula Vee (like Formula Ford)

Official Tracks include

Montreal
Spielberg (Red Bull Ring)
Interlagos
Interlagos 1976/1980
Interlagos Kart tracks
and loads of other Brazilian and Argentinian tracks

Most of the time I've just been driving the Mini's racers around. It is definitely keeping me going until Project Cars.

Cockpit cam starts at 1:42

Physics, sounds, force feedback for me were as good as iRacing. Oh and the AI cars are as good as it gets.

These are my recommendations for mods I have installed from Race Department.
