Is there an option to let the game choose realistic weather by the date in your career races? Knowing what's coming in advance kind of ruins it a bit...

Well, the post is from 2012 and didn't exactly say it not possible, just that they were not sure back then. I'll try and find something more confirmative on that matter.

We won't get an answer about real weather or USB keyboards on WMD because as stated before, console version development is under NDA from the platform owners. WMD has no information apart from what officially has been released.

Sony and Microsoft suck.

Once I can move to PC... I will :D

Weather in career is pre-selected. Each race has unique conditions. Some races have changing conditions. No option for "real" weather.

This takes out a little bit of replayability though.

Apart from that, the changing conditions can lead to really intense situations.

I drove a qualifying that started with clouds and I couldn't get a good lap together for gods sake. At halftime it started to rain a bit and I had no chance to get competitive laptimes. A few minutes before the end the rain stopped and I went in for fresh tyres. I really had to push on the outlap and crossed the finish line literally one second before the timer went to zero. Guess who got the pole on his last ridiculously intense qualifying lap... :D

So does this mean that if you run a second season in the same series, the weather patterns for each race will be exactly the same??

So, Gamestop says the release date is 4/7, but the pcars website says the 2nd. C'mon man!

I have the week off but the travel expenses to just go and see PC is too much. So I'll concentrate on playing F1 challenge with my brand new wheel to learn how to race a "manual" at last.
