I know. Don't get me wrong, it can be fun, but that's not my ideal form of racing. Plus, I assume with some setup adjustments I can get that arcade feel in pCARS if I ever want to mess around.
Grid girls and podium girls cheapen the sport IMO. Just makes it seem like they think us men are only in to perving on girls and watching cars, probably while drinking beer. And eating steak. And belching. It's a sophisticated, professional sport and doesn't need old chauvinistic traditions. If I want to look at nearly naked girls I know where to go for that I don't need to have them walking around when I'm watching the racing.InSightBefore anyone complains if there won't be any grid babes in Pcars...
I do lust after beautiful women, while watching motorsports, and drinking beer and eating meat..and belching sometimes too. And believe it or not, I'm capable of doing that and appreciating the beauty of motorsport at the same time. Here's to hoping they stay

I was jokingly referring to the whole lot actually. I eat meat and drink beer while watching motorsport sometimes too, and have the same lustful thoughts about women, but I choose to eat meat and drink beer while I watch, whereas its assumed that I'll want to look at girls while the cars get ready or whatever. But it shouldn't be. There are plenty of gay men who like motorsport, and plenty of women who like motorsport, and plenty of straight men who simply aren't interested in the girls on screen and only care about the motorsport. Yet they target horny men as the demograpic by having girls with big fake, erm, smiles flashing around the screen. Its unnecessary and detracts from the seriousness of the competition and technology. If motorsport organizations want to cater to gay men, lesbians, women, dogs, cats, martians etc. they are free to do so, nothing is stopping them. Taking something designed to appeal to the majority of your fanbase makes them less happy, and does nothing for those that may want or appreciate something different. It's simply political correctness run amok.
Wouldn't make me less happy and I'm in their target demographic.. It's just tacky in my opinion.
