perhaps the FOV settings have been changed by that player as i'm sure i've seen the driver's helmet in other videos. perhaps not to the same extent as Codemasters, but certainly more than in that video.

edit: like this one (granted, still not to the same level, but you can see the helmet come forward under braking).

Thanks, but afaik only under braking (cant watch the video right now). And it is an older build though.
You can move the camera to where ever you like (within set limits) anyway :sly:
That's great. But only in PC I guess?

This! I saw videos where the head was moving to. Adds to realism!

Ah, yeah. Still forgetting most members here are console players :indiff: I cant verify, but most probably, yes :boggled:
Yeah :) so would be nice if anybody could pass my request to the developers. I guess it is no big deal for them even if they have to add a second t-cam. Thanks

I think someone on here mentioned that adjustable field of view is on consoles too.

And adding another camera this close to release would be quite big a deal, I believe.

It is all adjustable! No need for a second cam! All good, mate!

Jesus guys, its just a new wheel (If Im Not Mistaken), I'd imagine they're making a PS version as well.

The big news here is this...
Additional wheel bases and a new Xbox One wheel "targeted to a broader audience at a much lower price point" are also due to be announced later this year.
If they get into the ballpark of the Thrustmaster T300, that would be huge news. The current V2 is over $1000 USD...just for a functional wheel.

When i heard the news off the hub today i was surprised they didn't go that route, should have known they aren't that short sighted after all :)

Yeah, the price increase is horrible even though it is logically understandable. The prices just ended up being out of reach for most of the sim-racers.

I'm glad I got my beta unit for half price of the pre-order price (which was 499.95 euro) since I was a beta tester. So I only payed 250 euros for my V2. To think it's 750 euro now... man I'm a lucky guy.

The same thing happened with the Microsoft Surface Pro 2 128GB I bought in October last year for 599 euro. Which has now gone up considerably as well to 1000 euro.

The economy is far from stable and it seems to change rapidly. If it's for better or worse... who knows? I only know it sucks for all of us right now. :grumpy:

Btw. I think the universal XB1 hub is the best thing ever. You can just put on whatever wheel you want, and add and remove as much buttons as you want or do not want. So no complaints here from me. Now if only I had an XB1.

Sooo we've heard multiple dates, are all of these just estimates? Logically i would think some of them are just guesses

Well, May 12th (a Tuesday) for EU and May 15th (a Friday) for NA kinda fit well together...

EDIT: Scratch that... just checked PS Store and it now lists a May 7th release date

New Thrustmaster T300RS wheel owner here. Very much so looking forward to properly using it with PCARS on the PlayStation 4. I've been out of the sim game since rFactor 1 and Live for Speed era, with a cheaper/older wheel, so this should be a good overall upgrade. Currently testing with DriveClub and The Crew... already better than the controller even in 'simpler' games.
