Before anyone complains if there won't be any grid babes in Pcars...
Pretty interesting decision about getting rid of the grid girls. Some of the cultures that the WEC is visting might agree, but some of the Japanese may not (since they rely too much on grid girls in motorsport, especially Super GT)...
But I'm fine with that.

Ditto. I saw a test track vid about a year ago and thought it was the greatest thing since sliced bread. I hope it makes it into DLC, it would be great for just hooning around.

Over the weekend my question was buried in grid girls, he he. So I thought I'd post it again.
I watched a replay of a P1 on the California High way and the driver launched the car 20 feet off the ground over a crest in the road, the car landed like nothing happened and went on its merry way. In reality, cars would never survive that. Is that type of damage not accounted for in pcars?

Now there's an interesting thought!
I believe the damage would have been turned off in the video, as far as I'm aware with full damaged turned on there would be consequences for a landing like that.

Said video methinks?? To me it's not a big thing but sure, at least some sparks could fly off the car or something!

Never really understood why grid girls were neccessary, seems like an ancient relic from a bygone era. That being said, their lack of inclusion means absolutely nothing to me if it means work was spent in more important areas. Surprised we still don't have a new release date yet! One of the games I intended to buy in May has been delayed till July so buying at release is very much back on the cards.

I don't think they are necessary but it's a job , my wife was a grid girl . She was a Bennets babe for the British Bike GP races and loved it plus she earned a decent extra wage from it aswell . Now where did we put them tight lycra trousers

Your own preference should be selectable in that case. Even if it's polygons on a screen I'd prefer to watch a woman's butt over a man's butt. It's just a phychological thing.
If a female or gay player wants a man standing in front of the car, it should be there as well. I think we even discussed this option at some point at WMD. Go figure.

I'm wondering if something will be announced tomorrow, Tuesday the 7th, at that 'Gadget Show Live' as the game will be shown, interesting, on the PS4............. That could mean it's now finished and is ready to be printed!!!
