MATT PASTRAMNI, Raced on Ax4x for a while, and branched out, Im good friends with the LMR guys. I broke away from TORA until recently, considering they have major plans for PCARS this year (e.g. LeMans, Daytona, GT, etc). With everything PCARS offers, it should be fun.

Yeah I remember you. Nice to get reacquainted!

It seems pretty counter-intuitive to continuously rat on another racing game that happens to be coming out around the same time as Project CARS. Racing as a genre isn't as popular as it used to be so regardless of F1 being worse or better than pCARS it is still good to see Codies continue to make racing games - even if for those like myself they don't really hit it off.

The more, the merrier.

If anyone is interested, vvv has a video out showcasing all the various graphical settings for ps4 version. Also includes head movement settings. (May have already been mentioned)

In regards to this, I wonder how much of a performance impact those settings have on gameplay. Hopefully someone can clarify once it releases.

According to the video they have no effect on performance but I find that very hard to believe.
Yeah, no matter how good your system is, adding special effects WILL have an effect on performance. I'm just wondering HOW big a difference it makes on PS4.

How will I be able to use the PS4 chat without plugging my earbud into the DS4? I have a full surround sound system so want my main sound coming through that and I'll be using a wheel and not the pad

The video options that are customizable are mostly post-processing FX. They hardly have any impact on performance. Also: Sony/MS wouldn't allow it if they did.

You have to remember that the game is limited to 60 fps output, that doesn't mean it isn't capable of pushing. 70-80-90 fpsor more in most situations. Features will only affect output if they knock the frame rate below 60 fps. Knocking it from 90 to 70 fps for example, will not affect what you see on the screen.

There is an option on the PS4 where you can choose where the sound goes.
