I don't understand the point of that. Caught me off guard when I first started playing and I haven't been able to get the voice to come through the TV. Its kinda annoying and somewhat disconnected from the immersion. I have to plug in my headphones because I hate how loud it is in comparison to the game volume.

Hold down the PS button and you can bring up the menu where you can adjust the sound for the controller. I keep mine off.

I just got the game and downloaded all the free cars and liveries. If I delete the liveries which cars will become plain colors? Or is it something I have to put on manually and if so how?

When you are in the garage selecting a car it starts with a random livery, you can then select a livery using left and right.

The driver looks about 8ft tall...whats up with that?
Can't say that I like that FOV either. It would drive me nuts!
The human eye itself has a field of view of around 130°, but what impacts our perception is only on about 50°.

Being so close to the eyes, the in-game field of view in these VR gadgets has to be huge as well. But I'm guessing you'll only effectively concentrate on a small portion of it, so it will probably seem natural.

The thing here is that you're seeing the whole footage on a normal screen; all the wide field of view at the same time.

Ok are Bmw M3 GT4s just #### cars in reality? I'm trying my very best to keep up with the Ginettas but unless I drive at the very edge of the cars limit non-stop I just can't stay with them. Racing on Sakitto International. I notice on most races the M3s are way down the list.

The m3 gt4 is very much slower. Ginetta seems to be fastest, Aston second, mustang close third, and m3 wayyyyyyy slower. Don't know about Toyota gt4, but I've heard it's even worse

PCars got updated to v10. From what my PS4 said this morning.

Here are the notes I guess.
Vehicles
• Aston Martin - DBR1-2, Vantage GTE, Vantage GT12: Tweaked cockpit exposure to better balance the world brightness when driving in cockpit view.
• Ford Falcon FG - Made the in-cockpit steering wheel static when disabled so that the digital display is still visible.
• Ford Fusion Stockcar - Fixed a damage issue, tweaks to setups so car is less likely to go on two wheels.
• Dallara DW12 Indycar - Tweaks to setups so car is less likely to go on two wheels.

Controllers
• Controllers - Updated the Fanatec support code to ensure the Fanatec handbrake peripheral works correctly when either connected via the USB adapter or the pedals to the wheel.

Pitstops
• Fixed an issue where, if the player pits on the final lap and only closes the pit board after crossing the place in the pitlane where the finish line is (but before the post-race screen comes up), the race would fail to end.

Last weekend at one of my brothers races there was a guy with 2 sim set ups using R factor and the TX wheels. At first it felt a bit rubbish but after few laps it all came together and in fact made me realise something is wrong with PCars physics with a lot of the cars, they sort of float like boats and it makes the FFB wheels behave oddly..
R Factor felt pretty tight as well like you didn't have to rotate the wheel much to get the car to turn in...

It seemed to lack much detail on the straights but cornering felt amazing, to tighten up the feel of the rotation you'd need to lower steering ratio yes?
I want to get some of the feeling of r factor....so hard to pinpoint what it was, anyone played r factor? (looks rubbish though)

rFactor is close to 10 years old. Even the sequel (rFactor 2) looks pretty crap, though, since the focus is on the driving experience not the visuals.

rFactor is also hard to pin down as an experience because it's always been a modding platform with very limited stock content where it's possible to change pretty much everything. Furthermore, the stock vehicles and FFB are awful, but there are plenty of mods out there which are a lot better (from the Realfeel FFB mod to individual modelled cars which just feel a whole lot better). Clearly you tried a good mod, but that mod will not be representative of the entire game....

Does anyone know why my tyres overheated so quickly when i changed to inters when it started to rain in an endurance race?

It started raining so i went in pits with everyone else,it automatically went to inters so i assumed that was the right choice. Within 2 laps my tyre indicator was all red and i had to come in pits and change again. Whereas the AI were fine.

Why was this? It ruined my race.

Maybe you just need to add tire pressure ?
