Thanks for your answer. I have to simply test a few options to see what works best đź‘Ť
You could start with tyre wear = 4x, then try 3x or 5x to see which one fits better with the race length you want. One interesting way to test tyre wear is to do a race with no AI opponents in solo mode with the race length you want, the car starts the race with the tyres already warmed up, I think that gives more consistent results than testing in time trial. Thanks for your answer. Yep the UI is rubbish and navigation a pain as a result, you can set up Pit Strat in career at the same time as you can tune it when you are in the actual event.
So now you are on the wheel have you managed to drive in the car yet or still chase/bonnet cams?
Also regarding your question if you want to race in a certain livery you have to go to the garage first choose car/livery -press X (watch the loading symbol) then come back out and it should be in your quick race menu.
Or use some doublesided tape to put a flexible piece of solid rubber (I used hi-fi isolation pads I had spare) behind you brake pedal and then recalibrate.Another thought with your T150 wheel when you calibrate is it possible to not have the brakes at a full 100% so when you do press down you don't need to go flat to the floor and only use 80%. I know this worked for me on Dirt Rally but haven't tried it on PCars yet!.. đź‘Ť
Good Idea đź’ˇ I never thought of being so inventive like you @ScaffOr use some doublesided tape to put a flexible piece of solid rubber (I used hi-fi isolation pads I had spare) behind you brake pedal and then recalibrate.
Gives you some resistance to work with at the end of the pedal travel and allows you to modulate better, worked for me before I got the T3PAs.
The mustang is a bit of a handful. I would suggest slow in and fast out to get used to the braking points of cars, now you have been on DC/Dirt Rally they will seem long maybe try leaving the brake line only on for a while until used to the cars/tracks.

Quick follow up to this. Turns out when I unlocked them my xbox wasn't connected to the internet, and all I needed to do was unlock a different achievement. Is the Zero to Hero and Triple Crown achievement bugged on the Xbox One? I've done the prerequisites for the achievements, but they aren't unlocking. Is anyone else having this problem?
With the Mustang it is really lifting of during turning (slower corners ) or braking into a corner and releasing the brakes to late which causes the car to oversteer. It only happens when I push to hard It's mostly my own faut
To answer my own question. I changed the force feedback settings for the wheel. Applied the settings discussed in an insideracingsim video and it did wonders. Much more feedback from the wheel đź‘Ť
I knew it wasn't your driving it had to be the wheel- the speed you go at on DC! đź‘Ť
I quickly found out that the risks I can take in DC are severly punished in pCars
I find the GT4 class very nice. Haven't driven to much else and still turning laps at Catalunya. Tell myself to drive something else. Did Spa with the AMG Mercedes and it seems a great class as well. There is simply so much to race that it can be played for months without touching all the content.
True. I've had PCars for almost 1 year, I've played most career events and driven most cars, but I'd say around 90% of my playing time in PCars has been spent with the same 10 or so cars.I find the GT4 class very nice. So I got bored yesterday...and decided to create a career starting at GT3...and would you know it you can get an Aston GTE or Corvette GTE contract from the start. Needless to say, I signed up with Corvette. And as a Fin', Riccardo Mittinov. xD
Almost always but at the designated (fixed) area. When using a car that has DRS and/or KERS, will the AI use them? If so, is how often they use it dependent on AI difficulty?
I get it from doing spectating on Single races. You know, that "Simulate rest of the race" on the pause menu? How would one know where that area is?

No. What i meant is how the AI used it. For the players you can use it anywhere as you want.AFAIK they're using KERS but definitely not DRS.
There are no dedicated DRS zones in PCARS. You can use it whenever you want to.

Telemetry speaking they did use the DRS seeing the power peaked for some time when DRS applied. They don't use DRS at all, although it looks like they do. It's a bug (not sure if limited to replays though).

I read a post on here where someone said the AI use KERS but never DRS.When using a car that has DRS and/or KERS, will the AI use them? If so, is how often they use it dependent on AI difficulty?
