Here's a tip to watch out for....if any company claims the device will give you "force feedback", watch their demonstration videos. If the video shows the guy plugging in a PS4 or XBone handheld controller/gamepad, then that is a red flag. Because it means no matter what, the game will see your wheel as a controller, and respond accordingly. Meaning you will get dodgy analog steering input and only rumble/vibrations...that's it. Not TRUE proper force feedback.
When the day comes where you'll see the guy plug in a steering wheel for that specific console, and then plug in *ANOTHER* FFB wheel, that is when you know that he's onto something genuine that will deliver proper FFB. I expect TitanOne to be the first to accomplish this but we'll see.
No need to apologise Phil. At the end of the day, I'd rather have people showing us these so called solutions so that we can prevent people wasting their hard earned on something that probably wont work. 👍I must apologies for the rash post earlier about the adapter, more good news GT6 could be having B spec in the next update….wtf and why?

This subject is so depressing to me. I have a Fanatec CSR with Club Sport Elite pedals on a Wheel Stand Pro ... and I can't use it (except for GT6). *sitting while shaking head side to side slowly*
I really hope this Titan thing works. I really do.
I had a thought (conspiracy theory warning): Do you think Sony is blocking other wheels BECAUSE of GT7 not being out? I'm guessing if all our wheels worked with the PS4, a lot of us would/will be playing Driveclub and PCars (especially PCars). Some us wouldn't even go back to playing GT6 (especially if PCars came out with all wheels supported). Speaking for myself, I'd be playing Driveclub exclusively right now. It may be arcadey, but it is GORGEOUS and feeds my open road, country side, through the mountains, etc. driving passion I once had back in GT4 while driving El Capitan. Heck, some of us may not go back to GT period (again if all wheels were supported) even when GT7 comes out. Especially after all the broken promises, lack of ANY recent cars, little car sound improvements, and, IMO, no real improvements in car customization when compared to other racing games out/coming out. Sony probably knows this and has no way to compete (they don't even an image released for GT7). With GT being a AAA, first party, console pusher that makes a LOT of money (just look at the sales, look at it's presence in the racing community, virtual and real life which equates to money) Sony stands to loose a LOT of money. So someone in Sony said this can't happen and asked the question, "What's the LEAST bought racing wheel brand for the PS3?". That would be the Thrustmaster. Face it, most of us have Logitecs (PC and PS support) and Fanatecs (PC, PS, and XBox support). If someone wants to get that real play experience from Driveclub and PCars, they're going to have to pay some GOOOOOD money for a DECENT 900 degree wheel. Near cost of a PS4 type of GOOOOOD money making people VERY hesitant to make the purchase. When all is said and GT7 is done, it releases with all wheels supported.
I can feel it. I feel the tension. I can feel it in my ...
I'm sorry. I couldn't help it.
I understand Logitech left, but Fanatec and Madcatz are still in. Besides that, why block a brand that MANY console race sim players already have (G25/27s)?I have a simple solution for you : sell your fanatec csr on ebay, there are a lot of people who can use it for pc, and buy a thrustmaster.
And Sony isn't blocking logitech, logitech has left the console market a few years ago.
Thanks, yes it's my car : 2009 Audi TTS.I understand Logitech left, but Fanatec and Madcatz are still in. Besides that, why block a brand that MANY console race sim players already have (G25/27s)?
BTW, I'm liking that car in your avatar. If that's yours, NICE car.
Until it breaks. And the Thrustmaster wheel is much better than the Fanatec CSR.
The wheel has 400+ hours on Forza 5 and 160+ hours on FH2, and it still works perfectly, while my Fanatec broke within 2 months.Until it breaks.
Well my opinion is a bit clouded because of all the stories of them breaking i must admit. The wheel has 400+ hours on Forza 5 and 160+ hours on FH2, and it still works perfectly, while my Fanatec broke within 2 months.
You know what my dad told me when i was a kid ? Never buy a new car in the first 2 years.Well my opinion is a bit clouded because of all the stories of them breaking i must admit.
That's very true and i actually followed that rule with consoles so far (although i switched to pc recently), the first batches are more expensive and haven't got the gremlins sorted out yet. I also buy all my cars second hand actually. Might be because i don't have the money to afford a new one but still. You know what my dad told me when i was a kid ? Haha, the same here. I always buy my cars second hand. You could have been saying an identical statement back in the early production run of some Fanatec wheels.Well my opinion is a bit clouded because of all the stories of them breaking i must admit.

Though I understand why people are moaning, I also think it's pointless at this point. The possible alternatives have been laid out several times in this thread already, so pick your poison and move on. Either way, it will cost you a fair amount of cash if you want to play this and other race game(s).I have seen enough moaning and griping over Thrustmaster being the only compatible wheel.

Yes, wether you stick with console and get a new wheel, or get a PC and keep your old one, it will be a great experience. Or if you want to go all in (as in 'all out of your wallet' ), do both. However, from what I've experienced so far... it's worth it in my opinion.
If you buy a PC only because you don't want to bend over, it's wrong IMO.So let's just conclude that if you have a wheel, buying a PC is the best option if you don't feel like getting bend over by a shady corporate scam 👍

Windows XP is already 14 years old, and you can pick up 7 for 25 euros if you look on ebay so no biggie. There's quite a big difference between that example and licensed 2-300 euro steering wheels that released only a couple of years ago.If you buy a PC only because you don't want to bend over, it's wrong IMO.
In the PC world it's the same thing. I had a perfect working windows xp OS but at some point they stop supporting it and force you to buy windows 7. Thats how business works.
There is only 1 question you have to ask : what are the possibilities and which do I choose ?

Besides it's not like you can't use your windows xp pc anymore, it's just not supported with security updates by windows.
Get Avast or AVG then, point is you can still use the computer.Running a PC with no security is a brilliant idea.
Logitech pulling out is only affecting negotiations for a proper driver to be made, it is not the cause both Sony and MS installed 'security chips' so all wheels are rendered useless. If you read this article completely http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2014-11-05-whats-the-deal-with-ps4-and-xbox-one-steering-wheels
and read Logitech's response, its about profitability they opted out of the console Sony/Microsoft market.
In January 2013 Logitech CEO Bracken P. Darrell said this:
So in the end its all about profit. So Logitech according to this says they will no longer make these products. Thats why companies are in business. To make money. Did you expect Sony to license something that will no longer be made.
- We are taking immediate actions to shape a faster and more profitable Logitech. We are developing more mobility-related products, leveraging the powerful growth of tablets and smartphones. We intend to sustain our leadership in PC platform-related products where we have engineering, distribution and scale advantages. Our goal with PC-platform products is to maximize profitability, while investing selectively in growing categories.
- We have also identified a number of product categories that no longer fit with our current strategic direction. As a result, we have initiated the process to divest our remote controls and digital video security categories, and we plan to discontinue other non-strategic products, such as speaker docks and console gaming peripherals, by the end of Calendar Year 2013.
