That too, of courseThis Logitech wheel user is now using this:
WutI'm a Logitech user and I'm now using this as a big "Screw You" to pCARS:
Fanatec didn't announce the final product until recently, but they announced last fall that they had signed a deal for XBone support and that it included the potential for backwards compatibility so we've known something was coming for several months.
Likewise, Logitech announced via Twitter ages ago that they were working on PS4 compatibility, a fact which many people in this thread seem to be forgetting.
Like I said, only time will tell what's actually going on behind the scenes, if anything.
👍
I think they never said that they acutally work on drivers. Their twitter guy only said it might be possible
Except that that's what making the wheels compatible would require them to do.I think they never said that they acutally work on drivers. Their twitter guy only said it might be possible
Wrong I'm still playing gt6 with my Logitech waiting for launch date and then decide what to do. Right now buying t300 + pedals is a lot of money. At least waiting for a better wheel/pedal bundle from thrustmasterAt the end of the day it's now to late Imo for logitech.
Like myself folks would of either sold the wheel and bought a compatible one for console.
Or got a pc to use it with.
With a serious racing game for console finally coming out it forces Fanatec hand to get it sorted asap if logitech were serious about compatability they would of done it themselves now.
Yes there will be a few still hoping for support but with the amount of people that would of decided to go one of the above 2 ways it makes even mess sense to support it now.
Gt7 when released MAY make their own drivers for logitech but that's 1 game

I still have a hope that G27 will be confirmed. On the bottom of checlisted wheels compatible with PS4 is a note " * CHECKLIST ABOVE NOT FINAL, WILL BE UPDATED WITH MORE DEVICES TOWARDS RELEASE*
Got 1 week to see if it comes true
Well - hope is a mother of fools, and mother loves her childrens
In the market i saw M4 converter and other tools that might make G27 compatible with PS4, any one knows if this works good ?
Have a look on this thread:

Unless SMS writes their own drivers for it, it will not happen. Logitech is not going to do it.
Holding on to a pipe dream that Logitech will some day make drivers to support a product area that they are not involved in is only going to lead to disappointment.
They stated that they are out of console Market. It's not the same thing, but it translates to it. Also they have issues with immersion and sony about their FFB.
No need to link to what has already been linked to a million times. Logitech very clearly announced in 2013 that they were LEAVING THE CONSOLE GAMING ACCESSORIES business. As with most companies, when they leave a business area behind, they eventually discontinue ALL support for that business area.
If you absolutely need links to back it up, here are 2. Feel free to Google more yourself.

Here is most of this article, with the direct quotes form the Logitech CEO himself.
"As we articulated when we started the third quarter, continued weakness in the global PC market was the primary factor in our disappointing Q3 results," said Logitech president and CEO Bracken P. Darrell. "These results are unacceptable and we are taking decisive action as an outcome of my strategic review."
Part of this review dictates that Logitech steer away from poor-selling console peripherals by the end of the year. "We have also identified a number of product categories that no longer fit with our current strategic direction," said Darrell. "As a result, we have initiated the process to divest our remote controls and digital video security categories, and we plan to discontinue other non-strategic products, such as speaker docks and console gaming peripherals, by the end of Calendar Year 2013."

Quotes from this article confirm that they are continuing to support their wheels and other gaming peripherals on the PC side as that is where they seem the gaming industry growing.
“We are taking immediate actions to shape a faster and more profitable Logitech,” Darrell added. “We are developing more mobility-related products, leveraging the powerful growth of tablets and smartphones. We intend to sustain our leadership in PC platform-related products where we have engineering, distribution and scale advantages.”
When reached for comment on this story, a representative from Logitech's G-Series provided an emailed statement saying that the company "is focusing in two areas" for its future peripherals: "the PC platform and mobility platforms (tablets and smartphones), with the objective of returning to profitability."
"The PC platform products are the largest part of Logitech’s business now and the mobility products represent the greatest growth opportunity," a representative for the company said in the statement. "On the PC platform side, PC gaming is a growing market and Logitech has a strong core competency in key peripherals for this market, such as mice, keyboards and headsets."
Note the words "DISCONTINUE" and "ABANDON". Also note the date. "by the end of Calendar Year 2013". In any technology company, when they decide to discontinue a product, they will continue to provide support for that product for 6 - 12 months. This is to ensure that any product sold in the last few days of the product's life is still supported under warranty. Since Logitech shut this business down at the end of 2013, support expired at the end of 2014.
Now how much more do people need to be shown before they accept reality and either buy a new wheel to go with their PS4 or replace their PS4 with a PC?. As I have said before, Logitech made their choice for their future path. I made my choice. Now you need to make yours.
Holding on to a pipe dream that Logitech will some day make drivers to support a product area that they are not involved in is only going to lead to disappointment. And for some reason, it seems, it is going to drive me to waste my time trying to explain it to people......
You're right about it not being the same thing. Like I've said before, you're reading way too much into that statement.
Sony had legal issues with Immersion regarding the Dual Shock controllers on PS3 (that's why the Sixasis controllers had no rumble efects). I haven't heard of any issues between Logitech & Immersion though. Links please!
I don't see anything in those statements that says they won't be making drivers for their existing products on PS4. Again, you are reading too much into it & making assumptions.
Like I've pointed out a million times before, Logitech tweeted that they were still working on PS4 compatibility AFTER they made the statement about pulling out of the console peripheral market.
The simple truth at the moment is that while they do not intend to make any new hardware for the console market, they have made no recent statements as to whether they will make software drivers for their existing wheels.
Absolutist assumptions, like you two are making, therefore have no basis. Until Logitech release an official statement either way, I'll be making no assumptions either way. I suggest you guys do the same.
That pretty much covers PS3, PS4, PS5, PS6, XBone, XBTwo, XBThree etc....just sayin' I think that tweet about working on a solution was almost 8 or 9 months ago too.Part of this review dictates that Logitech steer away from poor-selling console peripherals by the end of the year.
Your kidding right. Logitech will not work on PS4,move on it sucks, get over it.You're right about it not being the same thing. Like I've said before, you're reading way too much into that statement.

Look I want it to work as bad as the next guy,yes my G27 and Driving force GT are useless. Wish all you want.If Logitech "will not work on PS4", why did they make the following tweet that they was working on PS4 support then?
"..we're still working on PS4 support. updates will be posted to the forums when there is news." Source.
Seeing as no updates have been posted, I guess that means there's no news as of yet. I for one am willing to wait until there is some news, & not just make blind assumptions!
