Hey guys, still alive!

Completely abandoned this thread. Mostly been active at the iRacing forum (barely) - haven't touch console racing at all since. Been real busy with other commitments outside of sim racing, but I still do work on the F1 rig and its progressing well lately.

I had people kindly help me with my efforts with donations way back - I've refunded a few since it has taken millennials to finish. If you are one of them, please PM me; I still have my logs.

I have been playing sim racing on and off since TOCA touring cars in the 90's. Had a party at new year and did a Top Gear SIARPC challenge with an old Trip Trap chair that was no longer used and a Parker Knoll chair. 6 months on and the mission has morphed somewhat . I will just put a few pics of the transformation.

You need upgrade this for bigger screens or something... After 2018 coming Samsung 32:9 screen, im pretty sure it is perfect for this.. car

As nice as rigs and stands like GTOmega or SimSeats are, I want to design and build my own rig. It's something I wanted to do since I got my first wheel, back when I was simming it up on the Xbox, playing FM1 and Rallysport2. I've sketched out a couple of ideas, but I need to get a CAD program to work out the measurements...

And I need to source a sporty car seat with an adjustment slider. But that is the easy part.

Heres a rig i built and a 2nd one i just recently put together. Still testing so paint and trim are not yet completed.
Ive nearly documented every mitre and cut for the rig so i can easily re make in a few days.

Did you share the plans anywhere? i have access to tons of pallets and was thinking about making something using them, but this looks really nice.
