TB*waits for Beerz to come in and complain* rightfully so, I might add
I think I might start posting everything in Wheat. Or maybe Lemon Chiffon.
I don't know the conversion rate but I beat it in under 6 hours. So, that is up to you as to whether that is worth it.
Cool, then i think i will order it then. Sounds like fun
Question for Dragonistic, did you get back the same type of PS3... like 60GB?
Robin
yeah, i played the demo aswell and i really liked it. For that price its really an bargain:tup:
I'd pay $15 for it.Is it? I think that is a perfect game for a rental.
This shouldn't come as much of a ... shock, but Sony is discontinuing the Sixaxis in light of the DualShock 3's arrival, according to MTV. A Sony rep says that you can likely expect them to all be gone by summertime.
The practical upshot is that if your hands have become so atrophied from a lack of physical activity that you can no longer support the DualShock's heft, you may want to stock up on featherweight Sixaxises (Sixaxi?). Good night, sweet, almost comically light prince. And flights of angels (controllable with aftertouch) sing thee to thy rest.
10,000 post btw
Its better than the 360 imo. Having owned and played a 360 to death for the past 8 months, I can safely say the PS3 has wowed me more.
We'll have the full interview tomorrow, including Yamauchi's verdict on working on a Formula 1 title in the future, so check back for further details.
you guys check this
He will give an full interview tommorow
the news is here
No wonder SL didnt made an new F1 game yet
IGN: You've got the F2007 in Prologue, and a lot of people would love to see Polyphony work on a Formula 1 title in the future. Is that something you'd be interested in?
Kazunori Yamauchi: The F2007 is currently I think the most precise simulation of an F1 car in existence, and I think it's something that everyone should try out. We've had to implement a lot of new physics into the game, and a lot of mechanisms that we had left out before that we had to add to simulate the car properly, and it's something we're looking forward to having everyone experience. As for F1, of course we've always wanted to add more F1 cars, and to make an F1 game, but we haven't made any movement to acquiring the license, so there's no set timeline for it yet, but it's something we're looking at.
I'm having a bit a problem here with the PS3 and PSP. I connected them succesfully but when the background appeared on the PSP nothing on the PSP would respond, any ideas of what I should do to fix this problem or is it just my slow internet.
Thanks in advance.
I assume you mean Remote Play?
So like you can't navigate the PS3 menu at all? Or just you can't play any of the games? Remote Play can only do so much. Only a handful of PSN games can be remote played and then PS1 games all should work, including a disc in the drive.
It should be able to play any music, photos, and videos you have on the PS3 hard drive.
To see if your problems are your Internet connection run Remote Play while near the PS3 and have your PSP choose the PS3 as the Wifi point. When in Remote Play mode the PS3 acts like a WiFi point for your PSP. That way you will be connecting directly into the PS3 without going over the Internet.
So, when you go to connect to the PS3 choose a new Internet connection and when it searches it should find your PS3 as one.
Sony 'not aware' of alleged PS3 error
Reports are spreading of a new PlayStation 3 problem called "error 80010514"; Rep says Sony Europe hasn't come across the issue.
The "Red Ring of Death" is something that all Xbox 360 owners dread: seeing the green lights around the console's power button turn red, indicating a fatal hardware error.
In July last year, Microsoft responded to mounting anecdotal evidence of a high Xbox 360 failure rate by stating that there had been "an unacceptable number of [360] repairs." The company then extended the warranty from one to three years.
Now, unconfirmed reports indicating discontent are spreading across the Internet, and this time it's the PlayStation 3 that is alleged to be having some issues. According to posts on various Web site forums, including those at GameSpot and the official US PlayStation forums, several gamers are seeing "error code 80010514" instead of the loading screen of their favourite games.
Game Revolver contacted Sony Support and was told, "The code is not common, and a simple reset of the system and restoral of factory settings should do the trick." However, the writer, Steriotyp, said that this failed to fix the error, which he or she was told is caused by one of two things: The first is a faulty sector on the internal hard drive, and the second is a faulty installation of software or firmware.
The article offers advice on how to avoid the issue, including ensuring that the Internet connection is stable, dusting the machine regularly, and following instructions on installing software and firmware to the letter.
Other users appear to have received error 80010514 after mistakenly installing firmware meant for another region--for example, putting a North American update on a European console.
GameSpot UK contacted Sony Europe to ask about the issue, and a spokesperson said, "I've spoken to our customer-services department, and they aren't aware of this issue with the PS3."
Sorry to ask a dumb question, but are you saying that you're better to update with the PS3 connected directly to the internet rather than downloading an update on your PC and using a USB drive?Guys this is really important...
It seems like some of these failures are a result of faulty or the wrong region firmware updates... ensure that your in the right regional account which matches your PS3 when attempting to download and update and I would seriously recommend getting the firmware updates off the net as you can download them more stably then use a duo to transfer them.

Thanks for the important info 👍
Thanks for the clarification :tup:No, Im saying the opposite! Download on PC then transfer to your PS3... Its by far the safest way!
(when I say internet I usually mean pc 👍)
Robin
Thsi explains how you could possibly get the wrong update. I saw that in your post about using the right regional account and I was thinking, "How can you screw that up?" Now I see.See for someone in my position with a HK machine and always using a UK account I have to be careful!
