My PS3 connection has been poor lately, and my internet speed on PC is normal, anybody know what is causing this? I tried FIFA and BF3 and MW3, I have poor connection although nothing from my side has changed

Mine is fine. Been playing games, downloading and watching Netflix every night almost. Netflix is every night with a two-year-old.

Your ISP could be purposely lagging games or networks like PSN during peak usage times. It could also be wireless VS wired connections. If your PS3 is wifi snd your PC is hard wired then it could be a dozen issues. Try running speedtest.net on the PS3 and PC and see if the results are vastly different. If so, wire the PS3 to your router and run it again and see if it changes to be closer to the PC speeds.

Wow the new Playstation Store starts well on my system (sarcasm), first thing I did while searching on it was see the pre order bonuses of NFS Most Wanted then I saw the screenshots until the end and bam, stuck on black screen forever.

New store sucks for finding anything. Episode 4 of The Walking Dead is quite literally impossible to find in the store, had to fire up the game and access it that way.

Doesn't matter if it looks better (which it does) if you can't find what you want.

I searched for NFS Most Wanted pre-order, took 10 minutes for the store to load the details. I'll give it some time I guess.

I see that Singstar is now a F2P game on Euro/Aus/NZ PSNs (not too sure about US Stores). You get the app itself for free and a few minute-long song demos. You buy the rest of the songs.

There should be somewhere you can change it to the non-mobile version at the bottom of the page or in the ps3 options.

I didn't see anything on the page itself. I clicked a link a couple days ago that opened up a new window using the regular version, but when I clicked on the "Home" link it switched back to the mobile version.

I run into the same problem with different sites using my iPad. It's up to the website provider to offer an option for mobile OS to view the standard web site.

Digital-Nitrate has it pretty much spot on. If a site has a mobile version, then the website itself can force you to use the mobile version, even if the PS3 browser can handle the regular site. It is all, I suspect, thanks to the index.html file of the website in question.

The reason why I haven't been discussing PS3 material as I used to is because I'm so out of the loop. I just fired up my PS3, and I like how this new PlayStation Store looks and how everything is sorted out. I have somehow become interested in doing something I've never done before- buy downloadable content (DLC, of course). I don't have anything immediately in mind I want to get. Just that I may want to get some DLC for some games and even buy PSN-only games.


But again- I've been so far out of the PS3 loop, so some stuff you all may already used to are my own first experiences.

I remember years ago when Jet Moto 3 popped upon then PSN store then vanished. Its back in its glitched form... You can click on it but you can not buy it.... This was my favorite version. Wonder whats going on with this..

I also hate all the layers you have to go through just to DL free content... It was simpler before.
